Zig Ziglar, a motivational speaker and author, once said that "You were born to win, but to

be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win." and I have applied
this theory in every aspect of my life, from school-related situations to private affairs. There
is no limit to what people can accomplish and that is why I am prepared to unconditionally
apply myself to the study of computer science. It is my firm belief that valuable careers are
always supported by an extraordinary will and that behind each exceptional achievement
there is a unique combination of talent and a vivid, flaming determination to win, as it can
be seen from my personal experiences.

Trying to explain my preference for computer science, I would say that the reasoning and
the power of creation of this discipline aroused my interest. My passion for this subject
began developing when I got my first computer. Very quickly I learned how to work on it,
constantly trying to improve my abilities. The more I knew, the more I wanted to know. That
is why I found the two classes of computer science done in the middle school painfully
insufficient. So I chose the intensive maths-computer science class where I could study my
favourite subject seven classes a week. Not even this high number of classes was enough.
Getting into high school marked my first introduction to advanced programming. My
teachers instilled in me the passion and ardour of doing what you truly love, and my peers
raised the level of my innate competitiveness while also shaping me as a social and cultural
being. Thereafter I immersed myself into the computer science classes, making a point of
acquiring a maximum of expressiveness in as few strokes of paint as possible when writing
an algorithm. That is to say, I have never missed any relevant maths or computer science
contest.

Spurred on by my failure to qualify for the regional computer science Olympiad in 9th grade,
I knuckled down, but with even greater determination to succeed. By the next year, not only
did I qualify for the regional contest, but I won first place in it and went further to the
National Olympiad. From then on I became even fonder of computer science, making it an
immense pleasure to conjure and depict the way from an idea, a spark or a surge of
inspiration to the final application. One year later, I was also selected for the National
Physics Olympiad. By the same token, I started attending the ECDL course, which I recently
graduated, that giving way to another course of ORACLE.

As I wanted to test my abilities outside the school environment, I took part in numerous
projects and competitions. Strongly advised by my parents, I plucked up the courage and
attended the MENSA admission test, being announced a month later that I successfully
passed it and that henceforth I was a member of Mensa International (top 2% worldwide
based on the highest IQ).

Turning your passion into your job is easier than finding a job that matches your passion.
Bearing that in mind and following my inner devotion towards computer science, I started
following a couple of online courses and tutorials. Forthwith I started creating a few
websites and so worked as a freelancer for roughly two years. Later on I began developing
Android tools and games. I have been a winner several times so far. I have succeeded owing
to my dedicated teachers, owing to their encouragement, but also owing to my strong belief
that hard work and perseverance can do wonders. I am determined to be a winner in the
future too because I have thoroughly planned and prepared myself to succeed with the right
teachers in the right university. I have chosen the U.K. for one good reason - there is no
better place for a student to acquire a high quality education. To me, it is the greatest
opportunity to discover new strengths and abilities and face new challenges in an
international educational environment.
