A. Definition

Adjective clause is a type of dependent clause that works to describe a noun or

pronoun in a sentence. An adjective clause begin with words such as that, when, where,
who, whom, whose, which, and why.

B. Structure Principles

Structure adjective clause adalah:

Example :
 The book that he just read is interesting.
 The woman whom you saw last night is my sister.
 I still remember the day when we first met.

Principles :
Adjective clause always follow its noun or pronoun. The noun or the pronoun from
the main clause may function as subject, object, or subject complement. Do not use
preposition before the usage of the adjective clause “when.”
