Knowledge

Good training is a complex and

difficult task..
Students learn better when
knowledge is presented in an
interesting and attractive way.
Adventure, fun, emotions help
children to remember better.
Attractive training creates an
atmosphere that inspires and
stimulates students' learning.
Historical Board Games

Historical board games are a new tool for

teaching History and English. Using them in teaching
helps to engage students' interest, improve quality
and efficiency of education, enhance creativity and
innovation. This is an opportunity for students to
realize that history
is alive and can change depending on how people act.
The board games we work with during the school
lessons are:
The Cold War, Spain 1936, The Dawn
of Freedom, Triumph and Tragedy.
Innovative moment

Using an integrated language teaching methodology - teaching

history in english and language learning through historical
events. Students are active participants in the process, improving
various skills such as reading comprehension, applying strategies
and problem-solving skills, increasing english language and
information technology competencies, critical and logical
thinking, and decision-making. Their civic competence is
improved by acquiring skills in how to be tolerant european
citizens.

Student as a
teacher
Our first example is a
task placed on a
student who had to
prepare and to teach a
lesson instead of the
teacher. The student
had to seek and
discover by himself
new knowledge using
different approaches.
Student as a
teacher

History lesson. She
has prepared in
advance at home and
now is introducing the
topic Enlightenment.
Participation of
other students
Simona is included in
the lesson. Sarah is a
teacher for the lesson
and has set a task for
her to prepare in
advance at home.
The result
This enables her to
show activity, to
experiment, to form
communication skills
and habits, it brings
her great emotional
and personal impact.
The students work
seriously and
responsibly, even

Back to the old time

Attractive way for a

better and sustainable
utilization of
knowledge is a
representation of
historical information
from a student
dressed in traditional
clothing from the
relevant era.
Besides historical
information students
receive visual
impressions on live.
Bulgarian folk
costumes are very
beautiful and so
students receive and
aesthetic enjoyment.
All this shows that the use of attractive
teaching methods and learning helps students.
The learning is more effective, and the
knowledge is more durable.
