Topic : Expressing of Giving Opinion and Asking Opinion

Student Profile : Senior High School Level, 1st Semester Grade 11

Integrated Skills : Reading skills, Speaking skills, Thinking skills, Creativity

Objectives : By the end learning sessions, students are expected to able to

1. Identify situations that give rise to opinions

2. Understanding the text structure of statement of opinions

3. Express the opinion with the right sentence

Time Allotment : 2 class sessions (@ 2 x 45 minutes)

MEETING 1

a) Preliminary Activities

The teacher gives greetings to open the learning and pray together, then the
teacher check students presence.

b) Core Activities

1. Students are divided into groups, one group consists of 5 person.


2. Each group is given a link to the padlet and they must watch a video of a link
contained in the padlet. students can surving another link at padlet to
improvetheir knowledge.

3. Students imitated the interaction model of expressing opinion and identify


the charactheristic of asking and giving opinion.

4. Each group makes a conversation asking and giving opinion and then uses
that to perform in front of the class.

c) Closing

1. Students make a resume important things that they are learn today.

2. The teacher leads closing prayer of the learning.

MEETING 2

a) Preliminary Activities

The teacher gives greetings to open the learning and pray together, then the
teacher check students presence.

b) Core Activities

1. Individual Assignment:

Students work on the quiz on the padlet after understanding the material.

2. Group Assignment:

Each group present the result of conversation that they had made about
asking and giving opinion in front of the class with their choosen themes
freely.

c) Closing

1. Students make a resume important things that they are learn today.

2. The teacher leads closing prayer of the learning.


EVALUATION

Each group that present will get score from their pronounciation, vocabulary,
grammar, and how they are performance.
