School Nurse Visit

Video: The video is appropriate for this lesson because it allows students to see what
nurses do each day, in particular, a school nurse. This allows students to relate to the
video but also be able to recognize, identify, and understand the role of a school
nurse.

Read Aloud: The read aloud is appropriate because they get to see a boy named
Clive and his friends explore what a nurse does each day.

Movement: Students will have the opportunity for movement when the nurse
comes in and visits the classroom.

School Nurse Visit: This is appropriate for students and relates to the objective
because students get to see the school nurse explain the job that is done every day, as
well as, seeing the tools that is used in the nursing profession.
