D. TUJUAN
Setelah mengikuti seminar nasional ICIC 2019 dengan tema: “Pendidikan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan
berbasis Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 16 Jakarta”, diharapkan peserta mampu:
1. Memahami karakteristik sekolah berorientasi lingkungan
2. Memahami cara mengembangkan sekolah berbasis lingkungan
3. Memahami cara merancang strategi pembelajaran pada implementasi Pendidikan Lingkungan
4. Mengevaluasi Pendidikan Lingkungan berbasis Islam
5. Mengimplementasikan Peduli Lingkungan pada semua jenjang dan jenis pendidikan.
E. MATERI SEMINAR
Secara umum, materi seminar adalah mengenai Kepedulian Millenial terhadap Lingkungan yang sudah
mulai berganti menjadi industri yang disampaikan oleh Raka Rahadian, Alif Shohibudin, Nasiruddin Al
Mustaqim (Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta)
Materi seminar secara rinci adalah sebagai berikut.

2. Latar Belakang Masalah
3. Kenapa MAN 16 Jakarta Menerapkan sistem kurikulum yang berkaitan dengan peduli lingkungan ?

F. TINDAK LANJUT
1. Terselenggaranya kegiatan/ workshop/ IHT dalam rangka merancang dan mengembangkan strategi
pembelajaran berdasarkan Peduli Lingkungan berbasis Islam yang dilaksanakan oleh sekolah.
2. Mengimplementasikan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan dengan baik dan benar

G. DAMPAK
Dampak dari kegiatan ini terhadap peningkatan kompetensi peserta selaku pendidik antara lain sebagai
berikut.
1. Secara umum seminar internasional ini berdampak pada meningkatnya kompetensi pendidik dan
tenaga kependidikan, khususnya kompetensi paedagogik dan kompetensi professional.
2. Secara khusus seminar internasional ini berdampak pada meningkatnya pemahaman peserta tentang
Peduli Lingkungan berbasis Islam dan peserta bisa membagikan pemahaman itu kepada pendidik dan
tenaga kependidikan di lingkungan bekerja (sekolah).
H. PENUTUP
Demikian laporan ini kami buat sebagai wujud pertanggungjawaban kami atas tugas yang diberikan.

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the importance of the contribution of schools in urban areas on Islamic-based Environmental Care Character
Education, precisely in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 16 Jakarta. This can be a very useful finding in combining Islamic teachings with
environmental preservation through education in schools. This study aims to explain the Islamic-based Environmental Care Character
Education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 16 Jakarta, this study uses the Amran Hamzah theory in aspects of environmental awaren ess. The
method used is a qualitative research method by collecting data through field observations, documentation, literature studies, and
interviews. The results of this study conclude that first, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 16 Jakarta has conducted Islamic-based Environmental
Care Character Education in increasing values, persuasion and behavior that can shape the character of ecologically pious stu dents.
Secondly, Islamic-based Environmental Care Character Education focuses on environmental-based activities and the interaction of students
and teachers. Third, the application of Islamic-based Environmental Care Character Education is able to solve environmental problems in
schools located in urban areas and be can to increase student awareness about the importance of environmental preservation..

1. INTRODUCTION
This research is motivated by the importance of the contribution of schools in urban areas on Islamic-based Environmental Care
Character Education. As we know, our environment from time to time continues to deteriorate. Therefore, character education about the
environment is something that is important to be taught, especially those of us who are currently living in the era of the industrial
revolution 4.0, where the concern for the environment is diminishing. As Indonesian youth, they should instill the character of caring for
the environment well and using it in our daily lives. The purpose of instilling the character of caring for the environment is to broaden the
horizons of the environment and increase the sense of responsibility towards the environment.
In this policy there are many activities carried out by teachers to instill the character of caring for the environment, some
activities undertaken to increase the sense of responsibility towards the environment are the LWG and the garbage bank. Not only that
MAN 16 Jakarta also has a special division that takes care of the environment and in terms of public relations many have connections from
inside and outside the school. Of course, in doing this, it is not enough to work alone in managing its infrastructure, so MAN 16 Jakarta
works closely with the KPKP (Maritime and Fisheries Food Security) office to build school infrastructure so that it is more organized
Through this activity students will understand how important it is to instill the character of caring for the environment in the era of the
industrial revolution 4.0
Research purposes Based on the background described above, the purpose of this study is to make the public aware of the
importance of environmental education in today's environment Implement an environmentally sound curriculum to foster a sense of
responsibility towards the environment. Balancing the development of the industry where the existence of an environment-based school can
reduce pollution in the environment
2. THEORY
Jalaludin (1997:167) berpendapat bahwa karakter terbentuk dari pengaruhluar, terbentuk dari asimilasi dan sosialisasi. Asimilasi
menyangkut hubunganmanusia dengan lingkungan bendawi, sedangkan sosialisasi menyangkuthubungan antar manusia. Kedua unsur
inilah yang membentuk karakter dankarakter merupakan pola seseorang berhubungan dengan lingkungannya.
