Application 2010-11

Official deadline: You are requested to submit your completed application on Thursday, 21 January 2010 at the FB3
lobby anytime between 7.30am and 7.30pm. Incomplete applications will not be considered!

Where: The lobby of FB3 will have a desk hosted by Housing & Residence Life staff to receive applications in FB3’s lobby
between 7.30am-7.30pm on 21 January 2010.

Sign-up for interviews: When you turn in your application you will sign up for a 30 minute individual interview for the
week of 24 January 2010. You will also sign up for a one hour group interview that will take place on Saturday 30 January
2010.

Grade point average (GPA) requirements


A minimum of 2.5 cumulative and semester GPA is required for students to apply to be a Community Development
Advisor.

• You must provide an unofficial copy of your current cumulative GPA with your application

QF Permission Letter to Access Academic Standing – Please turn in a copy with your application so that we can
access your grades throughout the year (if you are selected as a CDA).

• If your university requires a FERPA release form to be signed in addition to the QF Permission Letter to Access
Academic Standing then please obtain this from your university now and turn it in with your application.

If selected as a CDA, it is likely that you will be assigned to a new apartment. This will be done to place staff where
needed and in the best interest of the residential community
We will cover the cost of your housing fees for the 2010-11 academic year. As a CDA, you will receive a minimum
stipend of QAR 2,000 per full month for the traditional academic year. In the event a meal plan is available for
residence hall students, this will be factored in to your compensation. If you leave the CDA position mid-year for
any reason, you will be responsible for repaying the appropriate housing fees as determined by Housing &
Residence Life.
