Many exciting events and milestones will take place next spring as our senior ciass prepares for
graduation and high school. At this time, we would like to inform you of the following activities, and
related information.

All graduating seniors are resporlsible to pay Senior Dues. Payment of senior dues submitted by
December 10, 2010 is $120, and includes a discount given by contracted vendors for early payment,
Seniors submitting payment after December 10 will be required to pay the full cost of $135.

Senior Dues will be collected each day, beginning Mondav. October 25. 2010 throueh Fridav
December 10. 2010. Senior Dues will be collected during AM homeroom by the senior activities
coordinators, Ms. McManus and Ms. Gonzalez. Payment may be made by check or money order. For
security, cash is not recommended. Your cancelled check or Money Order stub will serve as your receipt.
Senior Dues must be paid by each student regardless of participation in individual events, as the school is
charged in advance by each vendor according to the total number ofeighth grade students.

Senior Dues provides:

Senior Cap & Gown Photo Package (one 8" x 10," two 5" x 7," eight 2" x 3," one class photo)
Senior Yearbook (56 pages/full color)
Senior Prorn (hall rental, full catering, decoration, D.J./iights)
Senior Shirt
Rental of Kupfuerberg Center at Queens College (graduation ceremony and rehearsal)
Printing of diplomas, programs, tickets
Purchase (not rental) of cap, gown, 20 i 1 tassel and key ring
Senior Gift to school

Graduation will take place at the Kupfuerberg Center at Queens College in Flushing Queens, in late Jur-re
201 1 (exact date will be available at a later date).

Senior Prom will be held at Riccardo's by the Bridge in Astoria Queens, during an evening the week
before graduation.

Senior Trip to Six Flags Great Adventure will tentatively take place on Monday, June 20, 201 1. The trip
is optional, and the cost is in addition to Senior Dues.

Specific details regarding each event, as well as additional activities will be made available to all families
in a timely manner this spring.

Muchos eventos especiales e inolvidables tendr6n lugar en esta primavera al tiempo que
nuestros esfudiantes de octavo grado se preparan para su graduaci6n y la escuela
secundaria. En este momento me gustaria informarles de las siguientes actividades e
infonnacion rel evante.

Todos los estudiantes a graduarse son responsables de pagar la cuota de grado. La cuota
de grado que se pague antes del 10 de diciembre serd de $120, e incluye el descuento

sefforita GonzLlez. El pago lo pueden hacer con cheque o Moni- Orden. Para su seguridad
no se recomiendapagar en efectivo. Su cheque cancelado o el desprendible del Money-
Orden le servir6n como recibo de pago. La cuota de pago la deben pagar todos los
estudiantes sin importar su participaci6n en ias actividades individuales. Ya que la
escuela deber6 pagarle a cada vendedor con anticipaci6n deacuerdo al numero total de
estudiantes de octavo que se van a graduar.

La cuota de grado incluye:


El paquete de fotos con la toga y la capa (una de 8 por 10 pulgadas, dos de 5 por
7 pulgadas, ocho de 2 por 3 pulgadas y una foto de toda la clase)
El Libro de Grado (56 paginas a todo color)
El baile de Grado (Alquiler del Sa16n, Comida completa, Decoraci6n, Luces y la

La graduaci6n se llevara a cabo en el Centro Kupfuerberg en Queens College, Flushing,
