ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the effect of motivation in developing and improving
the quality of employees that is bound to affect the productivity of employees.
The method used by the authors using the library (library research) and field research
(field research) as well as the use of quantitative analysis to determine the
relationship between motivation and productivity. This is evidenced by the results of
the calculation of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.977 and a coefficient of
determinant (r2) of 95.45%, which means the relationship between motivation and
productivity of work is held by PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur, Tbk has strong
relationships and positively to an increase in labor productivity by weighting the
influence of 95.45% and 4.55% is influenced by other factors that could affect the
education and job training, mental working environment of employees and others -
others. It is suggested to the leadership of the company to engage employees in a
seminar organized by the agency - training bodies and institutions - training
institutions outside the company.
