Abstrak

Penelitian ini menganalisa bagaimana etika para nabi terutama Nabi Yahya AS
dan Nabi Isa AS dalam berdakwah kepada kaumnya. Dimana kedua Nabi ini
mempunyai strategi, karakteristik dan cara yang berbeda dalam menyampaikan
dakwah dan mencari targetnya.
Masalah pokok penelitian ini adalah 1) bagaimana Kisah Nabi Yahya dan Nabi
Isa?. 2) bagaimana etika dakwah Nabi Yahya dan Nabi Isa dalam kisah yang
disampaikan dalam Al-Qur’an?. Proses penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian
ini adalah bersifat kualitatif dan termasuk penelitian library research. Metode
penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah yakni upaya merekonstruksi masa
lampau dari obyek yang diteliti itu, ditempuh melalui metode penelitian sumber
dari buku-buku pustaka dan sumber lainnya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah
pendekatan historis yakni melihat suatu permasalahan berdasarkan sudut tinjauan
sejarah dan menjawab permasalahan serta menganalisisnya. Oleh karena
penelitian ini mengungkap kisah Nabi Yahya as dan Nabi Isa as dalam Al-Qur’an,
maka peneliti juga menggunakan pendekatan Ilmu Tafsir yakni memperjelas ayat
Al-Qur’an yang membutuhkan penjelasan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi dakwah yang dilakukan oleh
Nabi Yahya as dan Nabi Isa as berbeda. Dimana Nabi Yahya as mencari orang-
orang terbaik diantara kaumnya dengan tujuan untuk menjaga mereka agar tidak
terperosok kepada keburukan, tidak ujub dengan apa yang telah mereka lakukan
dan tidak menghardik orang-orang yang belum baik. Sedangkan Nabi Isa as
mencari orang-orang yang buruk perangainya dengan tujuan mengentaskan
mereka dari belenggu penyakit moral yang mereka derita,

 Abstract

This study analyzes how the ethics of the prophets, especially the US Prophet
Yahya and US Jesus in preaching to his people. Where these two Prophets have
different strategies, characteristics and ways of conveying da'wah and seeking
their targets.

The main problems of this research are 1) what is the Story of the Prophet Yahya
and the Prophet Isa ?. 2) how is the ethics of the propaganda of the Prophet Yahya
and Prophet Isa in the story told in the Qur'an ?. The research process using this
type of research is qualitative and includes library research. This research method
is a historical research method that is the effort to reconstruct the past of the object
under study, taken through the source research method from literature books and
other sources. The approach used is a historical approach that is looking at a
problem based on the angle of historical review and answer the problem and
analyze it. Because this research reveals the story of the Prophet Yahya and
Prophet Isa as in the Qur'an, the researcher also uses the Science of Interpretation
approach to clarify the verses of the Qur'an that require explanation.

The results of this study indicate that the propaganda strategy undertaken by the
Prophet Yahya and the Prophet Isa as different. Where the Prophet Yahya as
looking for the best people among his people with the aim to keep them from
falling to the ugliness, not be oblivious to what they have done and not rebuke
those who have not been good. Whereas Prophet Isa (as) sought those who were
ill tempered with the aim of alleviating them from the shackles of the moral
illness they suffered
