ORAL TASK 1 EDUCATION

Both students and the environment around them have been changing throughout
history. Education should not be less and must change are the same as them.
When I studied were about 40 students and could teach naturally. Today this is
impossible. Teachers have to adapt to these changes and we change our
methodology, we must abandon the idea of master class and become true
wizards to make us children home and attend class. Not only at school or at
school must be changes, these changes must follow in college abandoning the
concept of a single test and adapt to the Bologna plan where everything is
scoring.
I have previously spoken of a methodological change, this change can be made
from various aspects, which speak below:
The first must be change our way of explaining so that is a stimulus for learning.
Throughout these years as a teacher I have been testing new methodologies like
gamification and others and I realized that the change is not to be so abrupt, you
must switch between ancient and modern methodology. My students know that
one day I choose will be the classic pop quiz but, rather than in a traditional way,
I do it using the plickers application that involves answering questions with a card
that has a qr code that is scanned by the iPad and the screen comes the answer,
certainly much more attractive.
Undoubtedly the technological advantage we enjoy today is an advantage, but
there is a danger that grows every day, cyberbullying. It is to use social networks
for bullying. This is mu danger because this harassment becomes known by more
people and we can get into a very dangerous chain reaction which can lead
students to their limit. Catastrophes, unfortunately, have already occurred in more
than one school. As an example, this week a student in my class got the key
Instagram another student and started up phrases and images of this person.
When contacting parents told me it was child's play, but this is very serious
because it is punishable as impersonation and is a danger where a child's play
can lead to various complaints.
Another major education problems is the attitude of parents towards teachers.
This year I have met many parents challenging the authority of teachers, which
years ago was unthinkable thought. They believe their children are excellent and
so I suggest when they are reprimanded in school increasing the sense of
superiority of students to the teacher. Given this fact, what authority do we have?
Unfortunately increasingly this authority is decreasing. If parents only see virtues
in their little students will improve and unfortunately this fact will arise in the future
in their own work. They will not admit their mistakes correction.
In conclusion, we can say that education is changing to adapt not the needs of
the environment but to the way of being of the students, demanding less and less
on content and conducting various programs to adapt to them and they get drawn
graduate, the following question to answer would be, do we want people prepared
or people with titles?
