Roles & Responsibilities

The Construction Manager coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to
successfully complete of the project on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all HSE Standards. This includes
maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices
with all on-site activities. Maintains the job site office and closes out projects. Reports to Project Manager.

Core Responsibilities:

Liaise in an early stage with EPC Contractors (mechanical, E&I) and Operations to align and set up the Construction
Schedule (Mobilization, required Pre-Fab, Construction, Pre-Comm., and close-out)

Assist in the preparation of, review and provide construction inputs and technical evaluation of the Subcontract
Requisition / specification documentation.

Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.

Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that
conforms to original plans and specifications.

Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.

Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.

Understands the project plans, specifications and local codes and regulations.

Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.

Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list.

Promotes and ensure job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.

Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.

Maintains an organized job site, including the construction office

Assist and coordinate with Operations team for the preparation & execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and
plant start-up activities.

Education and Experience

Degree or Diploma holder. Desirable study concentration in construction management.

10 to 15 years of successful Site Construction Management experience with emphasis on mechanical equipment, civil,
structural and piping installation.

Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, testing and commissioning of all phases of
construction & installation.

Experienced in managing Brownfield (Revamp) projects
