MECHANICAL & FC, ELECTRICAL AND PAINTING WORKS FOR

VEHICLE NO: TN04-J-2245 (TATA SUMO) PERTAINING TO
CIVIL DEPARTMENT REG.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
SCHEDULE – “A"
TINKERING WORKS:
1. Complete body of the vehicle to be tinkered:- rear door dent, to replace the
wheel arch, mudguard, flaps, running board on both sides, sliding glass
frame, water channel, PV mats, floor mats, door lock and glass raising
mechanism, footrest side cover(PVC), rear foot rest complete set
(aluminum), glass & door beading, bumper(fiber), door lock handles, glass
raising handles, steering gripper, sun film control sheet, front & rear
number plate, side & center view mirror, complete silencer assembly with
spark arrestor. Etc.,

MECHANICAL & FC WORKS:

2. Complete brake system should be checked with replacement of defective spares
newly. To obtain the fitness certificate from RTO EAST Chennai, other fees
and also emission test.

3. U.J.Cross and center bed assembly should be replaced newly. Etc.,

4. Wiper arm with blade 2 Nos. should be replaced newly. Etc.,

ELECTRICAL WORKS:

5. Complete electrical work should be carrying out with replacement of the all
light fitting and all wires. To replace 3 Nos. of “Remi” fan. Front & reverse
horn Fog light, indicators and ignition switch. Self starter and alternator
should be overhauled. Etc.,

PAINTING WORKS:
6. To paint the under chassis and under neath floor plate with two coats each
of red-oxide and anti-corrosive black paint and also to paint the body of the
vehicle with “Milk white” colour and logos like “CHENNAI PORT TRUST” in
front glass, speed limit and other details at side cabin & emblem.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. The vehicle shall be inspected before submitting the offer.
2. The vehicle shall be collected and delivered by the firm.
3. The work shall be completed within 25 days from the date of receipt of the
Vehicle.
4. Genuine spares shall be used.
5. Gauge thickness of sheet metal used for Tinkering purpose shall be of
standard size.
6. The work shall be guaranteed for a period of six months from the date of
acceptance of the vehicle.
7. Old parts shall be returned to be Trust Transport shop.
8. The contractor is required to offer rates as per Trust’s format “Schedule-A1”.
