setelah menguasai karakter siswanya. Diperkirakan maksudnya, guru sudah memiliki konsep
alternatif pemecahan masalah yang mungkin timbul selama pembelajaran. Jika siswa bertindak
begini, maka ini jalan keluarnya
Hello, mam. Here is my answer related to your question.
I think in the learning process, teachers need to understand each student's more diverse character.
If in one class there are 35 students, there will be 35 different characters. Starting from his social
background, economy, intelligence, talent, motivation to learn, learning styles, and so on.
Understanding of student characteristics to describe the parts of student personality that need to
be considered for learning purposes. In addition, recognize the characteristics of students who
can know the quality of individuals and become a guide in choosing what learning strategies are
suitable for these students.
Mastering various characters is one of the strategies for successful teaching that is technical-free.
This often happens from the teacher's attention. Most teachers are fixated on teaching strategies
that prioritize technically.
Besides because of the education management system in schools, it is also because of the
assumption that learning success is determined by free technical strategies. For example, written
learning planning strategies, learning evaluation, and so forth. But one day the teacher will be
astonished when discussing problems in learning because they do not consider non-technical
strategies, mastering the character of students for example.
The deviant behavior that will be discussed previously has been approved by the teacher after
mastering the character of the students. It is estimated that the meaning, the teacher must have
alternative concepts of solving problems that may arise during learning. If students move this
way, then this is the way out.
Related to your question, why should teachers identify students' entry behavior before teaching
and learning behavior?
I think there are many reason why should teachers identify students' entry behavior before
teaching and learning behavior, and of course to make easy in learning process.
Understanding of student characteristics to describe the parts of student personality that need to
be considered for learning purposes. In addition, recognize the characteristics of students who
can know the quality of individuals and become a guide in choosing what learning strategies are
suitable for these students.
Preparation of learning design in addition to considering learning theory also considers the
characteristics of students who will be targeted. Before starting the lesson, an educator finds out
about the conditions and conditions of the students. Apart from being beneficial for the smooth
learning process, it can also establish emotional attachments between educators and students. If
the emotional attachment has been established, the interaction will run harmoniously and make
an impression until the student has grown up.
For that a teacher must also help as a psychologist, who can guide and educate students correctly,
motivate and give correct suggestions, and provide complete solutions in solving students'
problems by paying attention to the character and psychology of their students. Knowing and
understanding students can be done by paying attention and analyzing the words (speech),
attitudes and interactions or behavior of students because of three aspects so that each student
changes what is in accordance with the wishes (characters).
Good day, mam. Hope good in everything.
The term “learning styles” speaks to the understanding that every student learns differently.
Technically, an individual’s learning style refers to the preferential way in which the student
absorbs, processes, comprehends and retains information. For example, when learning how to
build a clock, some students understand the process by following verbal instructions, while
others have to physically manipulate the clock themselves. This notion of individualized learning
styles has gained widespread recognition in education theory and classroom management
strategy.
Individual learning styles depend on cognitive, emotional and environmental factors, as well as
one’s prior experience. In other words: everyone’s different. It is important for educators to
understand the differences in their students’ learning styles, so that they can implement best
practice strategies into their daily activities, curriculum and assessments.
One of the most accepted understandings of learning styles is that student learning styles fall into
three “categories:” Visual Learners, they prefer the use of images, maps, and graphic organizers
to access and understand new information. And then Auditory Learners, they best understand
new content through listening and speaking in situation such as lecture, and group discussion.
And the last Kinesthetic Learners, students who are kinesthetic learners best understand
information through tactile representation information, these students are hands- on learners and
learn best through figuring things out by hand. The students have different approaches to how
they process information, referred to as “preferred learning modes Students’ preferred learning
modes have significant influence on their behavior and learning. Students’ preferred learning
modes should be matched with appropriate learning strategies. And Information that is accessed
through students’ used of their modality preferences shows an increase in their levels of
comprehension, motivation, and metacognition.
