Part 1

1. The author keep the reader’s interest and curiousity aroused by making the tension of the
readers always high. At the end of the story, the writer still left the readers don’t know the
end of the story and makes them thinks the proper end of the story based on their
imagination.
2. The writers writing style is unique, he uses the words which rarely used in the other literary
works. In my opinion, even though it is complicated and hard to understand by the readers,
the words and sentence structures in this story are beautiful.
3. There is nothing unimportant from the character, plot, setting, or theme. Because all of
these things are things which make the story as a whole.
4. No, it is the writer’s intention to make the readers interpret the ending of the story by
themeselves.
5. In my opinion, at the end of the story, the young man will die because of the jealousy of the
princess. The reason is I do know that human will show their deepest feelings to the surface
at critical moment, and human’s deepest feeling is usually dark, so I think that the dark side
of human heart will win.

Part 2

1. I don’t agree with his method and I also think that it is not fair, because there’s no difference
between the commited one with the innocence, the fate of everyone who step their feet
into the arena will be decided by their own destiny.
2. She is jeolusy but still show mercy to the young man.
3. No, I don’t believe it. No, as I stated before, the young man will die. Yes, I think it is stronger
than love because I think that the young man will be eaten by the tiger.
4. Barbarism is cruel, injustice, unpleasent behaviour, the incarnation of evil, and despicable
thing.
