This study was conducted aimed to determine and analyze the effect of stress
and motivation on employee’s performance in PT Sarana Agro Nusantara at Belawan
Unit. Formulation of the problem in this study is wheter there is an influence of stress
and motivation on employee’s performance in PT Sarana Agro Nusantara at Belawan
Unit. The hypothesis will be proven in this study is the stress and motivation has a
significant influence on the performance of employees of PT Sarana Agro Nusantara
at Belawan Unit.
The population in this study were all employees of PT Sarana Agro Nusantara
at Belawan Unit totaling 101 people. The samples in this study were taken by using
Slovin formula so that the number of samples is 50 people and given to respondents
at random. Data used in this study is primary data and secondary data. The data in
this study were collected through the documentation method, observation, and
questionnaire. Data were collected and analyzed for viable, further comprising test
requirement of validity and reability. Data that meets the prerequisites analyzed using
descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis . Proving of this hypothesis
based on the results of the F test and t test . While the strength of the other variables
that were not analyzed in this study were analyzed using analysis of determinant
coefficient.
Based on the analysis concluded that simultaneous stress (X1) and motivation
(X2) have a significant positive effect on the performance of employees of PT Sarana
Agro Nusantara at Belawan Unit (Y) . While partially , stress has a significant
negative effect on the performance of employees of PT Sarana Agro Nusantara at
Belawan Unit.
