HYDERABAD TO RIYADH

Most essential things to carry in purse:

1. Passport (Original) + Two Copies attested

2. Two Copies Visa Copy
3. Two Copies of Ticket
4. Two Copies of my Iqama
5. Two Copies of my passport

Some important instructions follow accordingly:

1. Keep original passport separately.
2. Make a file of duplicate copies and keep it in your hand bag which can be taken out
easily at any point of time.
3. As far as clothing is concerned try to wear a cotton suit of any light colour. Try to
wear any flat sandals which doesn’t slip and have a good grip.
4. Don’t try to be fancy.
5. Whatever gold you want to bring wear it.
6. Don’t keep anywhere in luggage.
7. Wear only one finger ring if you want.
8. Ticket, visa copy, and my Iqama copy separate in easily accessible pocket or purse.
9. Keep in mind where you are putting other documents.
10. Whenever an official ask you for a document, present it to him without any panic
(Most of the time only passport is required).
11. Check the document before presenting to any one.
Entry on airport:

1. After arriving on Bombay airport take a trolley and put all the luggage on it.
2. While entering in to the main building of airport a security guard will ask you for the ticket
and passport.
3. Always keep the ticket in passport.
4. Present the ticket and passport to the security officer on duty.

 5. He will just check whether the given name on the passport and the name on ticket match or
not.
6. After checking this he will let you in to the airport.
7. After this point none of the family members are allowed.
8. You will have to manage everything by yourself here onwards.

In the airport:
1. When you enter the airport there will be many airlines counter.
2. You will have to find SAUDI AIRLINES COUNTER FOR ECONOMY CLASS.
3. You can ask to some counsellors about it.
4. When you arrive to the Airlines counter you need to show the person incharge your
passport and ticket.
5. He will take your ticket and passport and he will ask for your luggage.
6. You will have to deposit the big bag to him he will print and paste your name and travel
details on it.
7. After that he will issue you a boarding pass.
8. He will also put one sticker of your luggage on the passport or your ticket.
9. Don’t miss that sticker without that you will not be able to collect your luggage on RIYADH
airport.
10. The same person will give you tags for your hand bag.
11. If you are carrying a purse and a handbag then ask him for one more tag.
12. If you don’t have the tag on any of hand bags or purse you will not be allowed to board the
flight. Take care of this issue.

 I am attaching the sample of a boarding pass. This is a sample boarding pass of
goindigo airlines. Normally most of the boarding passes are same. Just the airlines names
are different. The important detail before boarding the flight is GATE NO. In the above
sample the gate no.

Emigration Counter:

1. Once you finish the boarding process the same officer will give you an emigration form
which is supposed to be filled by you.
2. Before leaving the boarding counter ask the same person about the emigration counter he
will show you the way.
3. If you don’t understand any field then ask for help from boarding counter or the suitable
person near you.
4. Once you finish the form move towards the emigration counter.
5. Follow the queue.
6. When you come to the emigration officer he will ask you for the passport and boarding
pass.

7. He may also ask about the copy of visa to cross check the details.
8. Without any hesitations give him the papers he asks for.
9. He may ask you some simple question like where are you going? Is it your father’s family
visa or husband’s? What is your husband? etc… Answer the questions calmly.
10. Once he is satisfied he will stamp on your passport of departure.
11. Make sure the port name is Mumbai and the date of travel is correct.
12. Once you finish this process you will have to move towards security check of the flight.

Security Check

1. Once you are finished with the emigration process head towards the security check.
2. Don’t forget the ladies and gents security check are different and go to the ladies security
check only.
3. You will be asked to go through a metal detector and you will need to put your hand bag,
purse and mobile phone into a tray and divert it to the scanner.
4. Once you are clear through the metal detector you can collect your hand luggage.
5. When you clear the security check the security officer will stamp on your boarding pass,
tags of your hand bags and purse.
6. Make sure you have got the clear stamp on all these tags and boarding pass.
7. If any of the stamp is missing then the final security before boarding the flight will not allow
you to board the flight and you will have to go back again to the security check and get the
stamp again.
8. To avoid this inconvenience be alert when the process of security is going on.

Flight Gate:

1. Once you are cleared then you can move towards the mentioned gate no. on your boarding
pass.
2. If you don’t know about it then please ask to anyone about your desired gate.
3. When you reach the gate you will find one or two airlines persons sitting there.
4. Just show them the boarding pass.
5. He/she will take one part of the boarding pass and give you back the other one.
6. Check your seat no. on the remaining portion of the boarding pass.
7. There will be a waiting lounge near the gate just sit over there.
8. Use the washroom before boarding the flight to be comfortable during the journey.
9. Approximately before 30 to 45 minutes of the flight, the officials will ask you to stand in a
queue for boarding a flight.
10. They will open a gate which will take you to a tunnel.
11. This tunnel ends in flight.
12. Don’t panic normally people run or make hurry to board the flight.
13. Don’t forget we have got the booking so no need to worry about the seat.

In Flight:

1. When you enter the flight an air hostess will welcome you and she will guide you to your
seat.
2. Before taking your place asks the air hostess to give you a seat beside a lady and she will
inshallah agree to your demand.
3. First put your luggage in over head stow.
4. Keep the purse with you.
5. Keep the passport and important documents in your purse.
6. Before the take off the fight there will be a demo by the cabin crew about how to react and
perform during emergency situation.
7. There will also be a demo of the same thing and flight technical details on the screen which
is place over the front seat before you.
8. There is approximately one screen after every 4 set of seats.
9. Watch the video carefully.
10. The captain will announce to fasten your seat belt.
11. You can do it when announced or at the time when you take your seat for the first time.
12. You can ask for any kind of assistance to the air hostess by pressing a help button placed
above your head beside light button.
13. Just relax you have to travel for near about 7 hours.
14. You can use the washroom whenever you want.
15. Just confirm about the washroom door how it closes and opens.
16. You will feel cold in the flight so its better to wear warm clothes or you can ask for a blanket
from the airhostess.
17. If you are not warm during the flight then you will get a bad headache.
18. You will feel stiff or some sound like beep in the ears it’s because of the height to avoid this
you can chew some chewing gum.

After Landing:

1. While landing the pilot will announce to fasten the seat belts.
2. After landing when you get down out of the flight there will be a bus waiting for the
passengers.
3. Just stand in the bus when it’s full it will take you to the terminal building.

4. When you get down the bus, just enter the building with the other passengers.
5. When you enter building you will find many counters places and people attending
passengers.
6. There will be a different counter for the passengers who are coming for the first time.
7. Stand in the queue of that counter.
8. When your turn comes the officer sitting on the counter will take your finger prints, eye scan
and a photo.
9. This photo will appear on your Iqama.
10. When giving finger prints you have to give the prints of fingers of both the hand then the
thumbs.
11. He will ask you for your passport and probably my Iqama copy.
12. Present the documents which he is asking for. He will put an arrival stamp which means
that you have entered Saudi Arabia.
13. He will also put a number in Arabic on the passport this is going to be your Iqama reference
no. for future.
14. So make sure he puts these two things on the passport.
15. Once you are finished from here you can go to the luggage strap where you will find your
bags.
16. Check for the luggage strap which is displaying your flight no. there will be some men who
will offer you the service to take the luggage for you instead of some Riyals.
17. You can take the help from him.
18. He will bring you out of the airport with luggage where Inshallah I will be waiting for you.
You don’t need to worry after we meet.

DO’S:

1. Keep your passport and ticket together it is asked many times and every where.
2. After boarding take care of boarding pass and passport.
3. Keep all of these papers in your purse.
4. Check for the stamps after every process is completed such as emigration, security check,
entry stamp in Riyadh.
5. Keep a Airtel sim card in your phone which should have the balance of at least 1000 INR.
6. Before leaving India call the customer care and ask him to activate International roaming on
your card.
7. Feel free to ask for assistance wherever needed.
8. Ask for the next step after finishing the previous one.
9. Keep a watch on your hand.
10. After reaching the gate and before boarding the flight make a short call to Baba.
11. Keep hundred riyals change i.e. ten bills of each valuing ten with you.
12. You may need it.
13. Keep two ball pen with you (blue and black).
14. Keep any book for reading in a flight.

DONT’S:

1. Never put any document in luggage bags. Always keep it in your purse.
2. Don’t talk to anybody more than requirement
3. Never panic anywhere
4. Don’t let anybody get too close (ladies or gents)
5. Never be careless of your important papers and hand bag.
6. Don’t put any jewellery in any bag. Wear it.
7. Don’t buy anything on airport
8. Don’t keep eatables or any liquid items in your handbag.
9. Don’t read the book anywhere else except the flight.
10. Never loose the concentration
