PENGANTAR
INTRODUCTION

Puji syukur alhamdulillah, Tim Kurikulum Program Studi S1 Teknik Elektro (Prodi S1-TE)
Fakultas Teknik Elektro dapat menyelesaikan Buku Ringkasan Kurikulum 2016 Prodi S1-
TE. Kurikulum 2016 adalah hasil evaluasi dan sekaligus pengembangan Kurikulum 2012
dengan mempertimbangkan kemajuan teknologi di bidang keteknikelektroan.

Kurikulum 2016 disusun dari proses kajian intersif dan komprehensif yang bersumber
pada:

2. IEEE - Allocation of Core Skills For an ICT Masters' Program,
3. KepMenDikNas 232/U/2000,

Terima kasih yang setinggi-tingginya kami haturkan kepada Tim Kurikulum Universitas
dan Fakultas atas arahan yang jelas sehingga memudahkan kerja Tim Prodi
merealisasikan Kurikulum 2016, serta kepada rekan-rekan dosen Prodi S1-TE yang telah
memberikan kontribusi maksimal dalam penyusunan Kurikulum 2016 ini atas segala
upaya yang telah diberikan. Mudah-mudahan kurikulum ini dapat melahirkan Sarjana
Teknik Elektro yang mampu mengatasi tantangan masa depan yang semakin menuntut
kerjasama keahlian lintas sektor dan yang semakin mengglobal.

INTRODUCTION

Praise be to Allah, the curriculum team of the Bachelor Program of Electronics Engineering of the
School of Electrical Engineering has completed the summary book of the 2016 Curriculum of Electronics
Engineering Study Program (Prodi S1-TE). This 2016 Curriculum is developed based on the results of
the evaluation of the 2012 Curriculum and taking into account technological advances in the field of
electrical engineering.

The 2016 Curriculum is composed of intensive and comprehensive review process which is based on:

1. ABET - Engineering Accreditation Criteria 2015-2016,


2. IEEE - Allocation of Core Skills for an ICT Masters' Program,
3. KepMenDikNas (Decree of National Education Ministry) 232 / U / 2000,
4. KepMenDikNas (Decree of National Education Ministry) 045 / U / 2002,
5. KKNI (Indonesian National Qualifications Framework) (Presidential Decree 8/2014),
6. SN-DIKTI (National Standards - Higher Education) (Permendikbud/ Regulatory of Culture
Education Ministry 49/2014),
7. Results of discussion between the curriculum team and various experts in the Industrial Gathering
events,
8. Results of discussion between the curriculum team and IEEE’s experts through the IEEE
Distinguished Lecturer Program.

We would like to express our gratitude to the members of the university and faculty curriculum team for
providing us with clear directions so that the work to develop this curriculum run well. We would also
express our appreciation to the lecturers of the bachelor program who have contributed their knowledge
and efforts in the preparation of the 2016 Curriculum. Hopefully, this curriculum can help the bachelor
program of electronics engineering producing competitive graduates that can cope with future
challenges; such as globalization and multidiscipline collaboration.

1 SEJARAH PROGRAM STUDI
1 Program History

Program Studi S1- Teknik Elektro (Prodi S1-TE) saat ini berada di bawah naungan
Fakultas Teknik Elektro (FTE) Universitas Telkom (Tel-U). Prodi S1-TE dibuka sesuai
Surat Keputusan DIKTI nomor 108/ DT/ 2007 tanggal 16 Januari 2007 di bawah Jurusan
Teknik Elektro pada Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Telkom (STT Telkom). Pada akhir 2007,
STT Telkom bertransformasi menjadi Institut Teknologi Telkom (IT Telkom), dan Prodi
S1-TE berada di bawah Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi (FEK).
Pada tahun 2013 IT Telkom bersama dengan Politeknik Telkom dan Institut
Manajemen Telkom (IM Telkom) bergabung menjadi Tel-U berdasarkan Keputusan
Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 270/E/O/2013. Pada awal
penggabungan ini, FEK IT Telkom bertransformasi menjadi Departemen Teknik Elektro
yang merupakan bagian dari Fakultas Teknik (FT) Tel-U.
Pada tahun 2014 sesuai dengan Keputusan Rektor Universitas Telkom Nomor
KR.051/SKR2/REK/14, FT Tel-U dibentuk ulang menjadi tiga fakultas, yaitu Fakultas
Teknik Elektro (FTE), Fakultas Rekayasa Industri (FRI), dan Fakultas Informatika (FIF).
Pemekaran ini menempatkan Prodi S1-TE di dalam naungan FTE hingga sekarang. Alur
perkembangan di atas diringkas ke dalam Gambar 1-1.

The Bachelor Program of Electronics Engineering (BEE) is now under the School of Electrical
Engineering at Telkom University. BEE was officially founded on January 16th 2007 under the Electrical
Engineering Department of Telkom School of Technology (STTTelkom) based on a decree from the
Ministry of Higher Education numbered 108/DT/2007. At the end of 2007, STTTelkom became Telkom
Institute of Technology (IT Telkom), and BEE was then under the Faculty of Electrical and
Communications Engineering (ECE).

In 2013, the Telkom Education Foundation (YPT) merged IT Telkom, Telkom Polytechnic, and Telkom
Institute of Management into Telkom University (Tel-U). It was based on a decree of the Ministry of
Higher Education numbered 270/E/O/2013. At the beginning of this merge, ITT Telkom became the
Faculty of Engineering which had three departments, i.e.: Department of Electrical Engineering
(formerly the ECE), Department of Industrial Engineering, and Department of Informatics Engineering.

In 2014, the Rector of Tel-U issued a decree no. KR.051/SKR2/REK/14 and divided the Faculty of
Engineering into three faculties or schools; i.e. the School of Electrical Engineering, The School of
Industrial Engineering, and the School of Informatics Engineering. Since then, BEE has been a study

program in the School of Electrical Engineering. This transformation in the past 5 years is illustrated in
Figure 1-1.

1.1 Visi
“Menjadi program studi berstandar internasional dan menghasilkan sarjana berkeahlian
Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, atau Teknik Biomedika”.
Berikut ini adalah penjelasan dari visi Program Studi S1 Teknik Elektro:
a. Berstandar internasional berarti bahwa kompetensi lulusan adalah hasil proses
sistematis berdasarkan kurikulum yang disusun dengan mengacu ke badan akreditasi
dan profesional internasional; selain itu, juga berarti bahwa para dosen mampu
mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya di jurnal dan konferensi internasional yang
bereputasi,
b. Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik Biomedika yang dimaksud
adalah bidang keahlian seperti yang dinyatakan dalam kriteria akreditasi dari ABET
untuk program rekayasa dan teknologi rekayasa,
c. Visi ini akan dicapai pada tahun 2018.

1.1 Vision
“Becoming an international standardized bachelor program that produces graduates with competencies
in Electronics Systems, Control Systems, or Biomedical Engineering”.

The explanation of the vision is as follows:


a. International standard means that the graduates acquire competencies from a systematic
educational process based on a curriculum that complies with recommendation from international
and professional accreditation councils; it also means that the faculty members must be able to
publish their research papers to reputable international journals and conferences.
b. The graduates’ competencies in Electronics Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical
Engineering as stated in the vision are based on ABET’s criteria for accrediting engineering and
engineering technology programs.
c. This vision is expected to be accomplished in 2018.

1.2 Misi
1. Menyelenggarakan pendidikan berstandar internasional untuk menghasilkan lulusan
yang menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali,
dan Teknik Biomedika;
2. Mengembangkan dan menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi Sistem
Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik Biomedika yang diakui secara internasional
dengan melibatkan mahasiswa secara aktif;
3. Memanfaatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali,
dan Teknik Biomedika untuk kesejahteraan dan kemajuan peradaban bangsa.

1.2 Mission
1. To provide an international standard of education that enable students to acquire knowledge,
science, and technology of Electronics Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering;
2. To develop and disseminate the knowledge, science, and technology of Electronics Systems,
Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering that are internationally recognized by actively
engaging students;
3. To apply the knowledge, science, and technology of Electronics Systems, Control Systems, and
Biomedical Engineering for the welfare and advancement of the nation civilization.

1.3 Tujuan
Tercapainya kepercayaan dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan melalui:

1. Peran aktif program studi dalam tata kelola fakultas dan universitas serta dalam tata
kelola pendidikan tinggi di tingkat nasional maupun internasional;
2. Program studi yang berstandar internasional;
3. Lulusan yang memiliki integritas, kompetensi, dan daya saing nasional dan
internasional;
4. Karya penelitian dan produk inovasi yang bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitas
hidup masyarakat dan mendukung pembangunan ekonomi nasional;
5. Budaya riset, atmosfer akademik lintas budaya, dan jiwa kewirausahaan di kalangan
sivitas akademika.

1.3 Objectives
Attaining trust from all stakeholders through:
1. Participating actively in managing the School of Electrical Engineering and Telkom University as
well as in managing higher education systems at a national level or an international level;
2. Establishing an international standardized study program;
3. Producing graduates who have integrity, competency, and competitiveness at national and
international level;
4. Conducting research and producing innovation products that improve the quality of life and
support national economic development;
5. Promoting research culture, cross-cultural academic atmosphere, and entrepreneurship of the
academic societies.

2 Program Descriptions

Sebagaimana yang dijelaskan di visi dan misi Prodi S1-TE, bidang yang ditawarkan adalah
Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik Biomedika. Dibanding prodi-prodi lain di
bawah naungan Fakultas Teknik Elektro Tel-U, kajian dititikberatkan agar mahasiswa
atau lulusan Prodi S1-TE:
a. Mampu merancang, membangun, dan mengintegrasikan aplikasi perangkat keras
berbasis Programmable Device (Misal: Mikrokontroler, PLC, atau FPGA),
b. Mampu melakukan akuisisi dan pengolahan sinyal (elektrik, biologis, dan
fenomena fisis),
c. Mampu merancang dan mengimplementasikan komunikasi antar perangkat keras
elektronik, dan
d. Mampu merancang dan mengimplementasikan algoritma kendali modern ke
dalam sistem elektro-mekanik, sistem otomatisasi, atau robotika.

Keunggulan Prodi S1-TE Tel-U dibanding Prodi Teknik Elektro di universitas-universitas


lain antara lain:
a. Unggul dalam penerapan dan pengembangan TIK,
b. Memiliki banyak konsentrasi keahlian (Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan
Teknik Biomedika), dan
c. Memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan inkubator industri (Bandung Techno Park).

The Bachelor Program of Electronics Engineering (BEE) offers three specializations: Electronics
System, Control System, and Biomedical Engineering. Comparing with other study programs in the
School of Electrical Engineering at Telkom University, our studies focus on developing the students or
the graduates to be capable of:
a. Designing, implementing, and integrating hardware applications based on programmable
devices (e.g. Microcontroller, PLC, FPGA);
b. Implementing the processing and data acquisition of electric signals from various biological and
physical phenomena;
c. Designing and implementing communication systems between two or more electronic devices
or systems;
d. Designing and implementing modern control algorithm into electro-mechanical system,
automatization system, or robotic.

Comparing with electronics engineering study programs in other universities, our program has a number
of advantages such as:
a. Being excellence in applying and developing information and communication technology;
b. Offering a number of specializations or major tracks, i.e. Electronics Systems, Control Systems,
and Biomedical Engineering;
c. Forming a close cooperation to a business incubator, i.e. Bandung Techno Park.

Berikut adalah mata kuliah ditawarkan Program Studi S1 Teknik Elektro sesuai
dengan ciri khas di atas agar mahasiswa dan lulusan memiliki kemampuan spesifik dalam
bidang Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali atau Teknik Biomedis.
a. Untuk memiliki kemampuan desain, implementasi, dan pengintegrasian aplikasi
perangkat keras (hardware) dengan perangkat lunak (software) maka diperlukan
beberapa mata kuliah yang membahas topik berikut: Pemrograman, Rangkaian

Digital, Mikrokomputer, Antarmuka, Mekatronika dan Robotika, Perancangan
Rangkaian Terintegrasi Digital, Sistem Otomatisasi Industri, Perancangan Metode
Kendali, Perancangan Sistem Biomedika, dan Perancangan PCB.
b. Untuk memiliki kemampuan mengimplementasikan pengolahan dan akuisisi data
sinyal listrik dari berbagai gejala biologi dan fisika, maka mahasiswa perlu dibekali
pengetahuan yang dapat diperoleh melalui perkuliahan yang membahas: Kalkulus,
Fisika, Persamaan Diferensial, Rangkaian Logika, Variabel Kompleks, Rangkaian
Listrik, Elektromagnetika, Elektronika, Pengolahan Sinyal, Matematika Diskrit,
Instrumentasi dan Pengukuran Elektrik, Sistem Catu Daya, Sistem Telekomunikasi,
Sistem Kendali Digital, Elektronika Daya, Fisika Biomedika, Instrumentasi Biomedika,
Elektronika Daya, Instrumentasi Optik, Analisis Kendali Kokoh, Sistem Kendali
Multivariabel, serta Pengukuran Biosinyal.
c. Untuk memiliki kemampuan mendesain dan mengimplementasikan sistem
komunikasi antara dua atau lebih perangkat atau sistem elektronika, diperlukan mata
kuliah-mata kuliah seperti: Pemrograman, Antarmuka, Pengolahan Sinyal, Sistem
Telekomunikasi, dan Computer Vision.
d. Untuk memiliki kemampuan untuk mendesain dan mengimplementasikan algoritma
kendali modern pada sistem listrik-mekanik, sistem otomatisasi atau robotika
diberikan melalui beberapa mata kuliah seperti: Sistem Kendali, Persamaan
Diferensial, Pengolahan Sinyal, Sistem Catu Daya, Mekatronika dan Robotika, Sistem
Otomatisasi Industri, Pembelajaran Mesin dan Aplikasi, Analisis Kendali Kokoh, dan
Sistem Kendali Multivariabel.

In order to reach and maintenance the competitive excellence of the bachelor program in Electronics
Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering through the above distinguished competences,
the program offers the following specific subjects.
a. Programming, Microcomputer, Interfacing, Design Method, Mechatronics and Robotics, Integrated
Circuits Design, FPGA-based System Design, Industrial Automation System, Control Method
Design, Biomedical System Design, and Signal Integrity in PCB Design are offered to develop the
students’ skills to design, and integrate hardware and software applications;
b. Calculus, Physics, Differential Equations, Logic Circuits, Complex Variables, Electric Circuits,
Electromagnetics, Electronics, Signals Processing, Discrete Mathematics, Electronic
Measurements and Instrumentations, Power Supply Systems, Telecommunication Systems, Digital
Control Systems, Power Electronics, Biomedical Physics, Biomedical Instrumentations, Optical
Instrumentations, Robust Control Analysis, Multivariable Control Systems, and Bio-signal
Measurements are some fundamental knowledge. They are provided to build the students’ abilities
to implement data process and acquisition of electronic signals from various biological and physic
phenomenon.
c. Programming, Interfacing, Signal Processing, Telecommunication System, and Computer Vision
are learned to develop the students’ abilities to design and implement Communication System
between Electronics Equipment.
d. Control System, Differential equation, Signal Processing, Power Supply System, Digital Control
System, Mechatronics and Robotics, Industrial Automated Systems, Robust Control Analysis, and
Multivariable Control Systems are given to develop the students’ abilities to design and implement
modern Control Algorithm to Electric-Mechanic Systems, Automated Systems and Robotics.

Berdasarkan data dan analisis yang telah dilakukan, profil lulusan dirumuskan menjadi
tiga kategori profil utama sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaan yang membutuhkan lulusan
Program Studi Sarjana Teknik Elektro (S1-TE).

Based on data of the occupation of the alumni, graduate profiles of the Electronics Engineering Bachelor
Program are classified into three main profiles.

Biomedika
a. Tenaga Profesional Instrumentasi: teknisi SCADA, teknisi Instrumentasi untuk Oil
& Gas, teknisi Instrumentasi untuk peralatan biomedika. Teknisi instrumentasi
pesawat terbang, dan konsultan instrumentasi,
b. Tenaga Profesional Kendali Industri: desainer dan teknisi sistem kontrol untuk
otomatisasi industri, teknisi sistem persinyalan kereta api, teknisi sistem kendali
pesawat terbang, konsultan sistem kendali,
c. Tenaga Profesional Perangkat Keras Elektronika: desainer filter digital/ analog,
teknisi dan desainer PCB, desainer IC,
d. Tenaga Profesional Kalibrasi: Teknisi kalibrasi alat-alat ukur elektronik atau
peralatan biomedika,
e. Tenaga Profesional Perawatan: Teknisi perawatan untuk gedung bertingkat dan
industri, management trainee di bagian maintenance.
B. PRF 2 Asisten Peneliti di Bidang Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik
Biomedika

a. Tenaga asisten peneliti di lembaga penelitian non universitas, contoh: di LIPI,
BPPT, atau LAPAN
b. Tenaga asisten peneliti di universitas (sebagai dosen)
c. Tenaga peneliti di perusahaan swasta, contoh: Tenaga R & D di perusahaan
otomotif, penerbangan, dan desain IC.
C. PRF 3 Technopreneur di Bidang Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik
Biomedika berbasis TIK
a. Technopreneuer di bidang IC desain dan sistem elektronik: Technopreneuer yang
menyediakan pesanan hardware sistem elektronika yang direalisasikan dalam IC.
b. Technopreneuer di bidang otomatisasi industri: Technopreneuer yang
menyediakan sistem otomatisasi berbasis TIK (misal: sistem parkir otomatis),
c. Technopreneuer di bidang peralatan biomedika: Integrator instrumentasi
biomedika di rumah sakit.

In industries, the graduates of Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering can take the responsibilities
of these following positions.

A. PRF 1 Professionals in Electronic Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering


a. Professionals in Instrumentation: SCADA technician, oil & gas instrumentation technician,
biomedical instrument technician, aircraft instrument technician, instrumentation consultant.
b. Professionals in Industrial Control: control system designer and technician for industrial
automatization, railway signaling system technician, aircraft control system technician, control
system consultant,
c. Professionals in Electronic Hardware: Digital/ analog filter designer, PCB technician and
designer, IC designer,
d. Professionals in Calibration: electronic measurement and biomedical device calibration
technician,
e. Professionals in Maintenance: Maintenance technician at the tall building and industrial,
management trainee for maintenance.

B. PRF 2 is researchers in Electronic Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering


a. Researcher in research institutes; e.g. a researcher at LIPI, BPPT, or LAPAN
b. Researcher in universities as a lecturer,
c. Researcher at private companies; e.g.: R & D department at the car company, aircraft, and IC
design

C. PRF 3 Technopreneurs in ICT-based Electronic Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical


Engineering
a. IC design and electronics system technopreneueur: technopreneueur that provides electronics
system implemented in IC,
b. Industrial automatization Technopreneuer: technopreneuer that provides automatization based
on ICT (e.g.: automatic parking system),
c. Biomedical devices technopreneur: technopreneuer that combines many of biomedical

4 CAPAIAN PEMBELAJARAN
4 Learning Outcome

Hasil analisis kebutuhan pasar dan pengembangan keilmuan yang telah dilaksanakan
pada tahap pertama dalam bentuk rumusan Profil Lulusan, yang digunakan sebagai
acuan untuk merumuskan capaian pembelajaran lulusan. Menurut Peraturan Presiden
No 8 Tahun 2012 tentang Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia, bab 1 pasal 1 ayat 2,
capaian pembelajaran adalah kemampuan yang diperoleh melalui internalisasi
pengetahuan, sikap, ketrampilan, kompetensi, dan akumulasi pengalaman kerja.
Dalam Permendikbud No 49 tahun 2014 pasal 5 ayat 1, capaian pembelajaran
lulusan sebagai rumusan standar kompetensi lulusan merupakan kriteria minimal
tentang kualifikasi kemampuan lulusan yang mencakup sikap, pengetahuan dan
keterampilan.
Perumusan capaian pembelajaran lulusan selain mengacu pada profil lulusan,
menurut Permendikbud no. 49 tahun 2014 pasal 5 ayat 3, wajib mengacu pada KKNI dan
memiliki kesetaraan dengan jenjang kualifikasi pada KKNI. Keterkaitan antara profil
lulusan, bidang keilmuan program studi, KKNI dan SN Dikti serta referensi kompetensi,
disajikan pada Gambar 4-1. Berdasarkan Gambar 4-1, langkah perumusan capaian
pembelajaran sebagai berikut:
1. Mendeskripsikan visi dan misi keilmuan program studi.
2. Melakukan analisis kebutuhan pasar dan stakeholder yang mendeskripsikan profil
lulusan.
3. Menggunakan deskripsi KKNI dan SN Dikti.
4. Menggunakan referensi dalam dan luar negeri.
Rumusan capaian pembelajaran digunakan sebagai acuan utama pengembangan
standar-standar yang lain (Permendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014 Pasal 5 ayat 2) dalam
rangka pengembangan kurikulum program studi. Hasil perumusan capaian
pembelajaran digunakan sebagai acuan pada tahap berikutnya yaitu pengembangan
bahan kajian. Capaian pembelajaran dikembangkan dan dirumuskan oleh Tim
Pengembang Kurikulum Program Studi.
Mengacu pada Permendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014 pasal 5 ayat 1, capaian
pembelajaran mencakup unsur-unsur sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Lalu dalam
Permendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014 pasal 6, keterampilan yang merupakan kemampuan
unjuk kerja mencakup keterampilan umum dan keterampilan khusus. Sikap
pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dirancang dalam kurikulum 2016 Prodi S1 Teknik
Elektro ditunjukkan pada Tabel 4-1

The results of analyzing market needs and knowledge development conducted at the first stage has
been used to formulate the graduate profiles which are further used as the reference to define the
learning outcomes. Learning outcome, based on President’s decree No. 8/2012 about National
Qualification Scheme of Indonesia (KKNI), chapter 1, section 1 verse 2, is abilities acquired by
internalizing knowledge, attitude, skill, competency, and the accumulation of work experiences.
In addition, Permendikbud No 49/2014 section 5 verse 1 states that the learning outcomes of
the graduates is the minimal standard of graduates’ competency that cover attitudes, knowledge, and
skills.
The graduates’ learning outcomes should be based on the graduate profiles as stated in
Permendikbud No. 49/2014 section 5 verse 3, KKNI, and have the same level as the qualification level
of KKNI. The relationship among graduate profiles, study program’s field of knowledge, KKNI and SN
Dikti as well as the competency references is illustrated at Figure 4-1. Based on Figure 4-1, the
procedure in defining the learning outcomes are as follows:
1. Describing the vision and mission of the study program.
2. Analyzing the market needs and stakeholders that represent the graduate profiles.
3. Referring to the description of KKNI and SN Dikti.
4. Referring to national and international references.

The defined learning outcomes is then used as the main reference to develop other standards
(Permendikbud No. 49/2014 section 5 verse 2) in order to develop the study program curriculum. This
learning outcome is then used as the references of the next step i.e. to develop topics of the study. The
learning outcomes is developed and defined by curriculum development team of the study program.
Referring to Permendikbud No. 49/2014 section 5 verse 1, the learning outcomes cover
attitudes, knowledges, and skills. In addition, Permendikbud No. 49/2014 section 6 states that skills are
the blends of general and special skills. Attitudes and skills designed in the 2016 curriculum of the
bachelor degree of the electronics engineering are presented in Table 4-1.

5 STRUKTUR KURIKULUM
5 Curriculum Structure

Di dalam kurikulum 2016, untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan tingkat sarjana di Prodi S1-
Teknik Elektro, mahasiswa perlu mengambil minimum 144 SKS. Total SKS tersebut
tersusun dari 49 mata kuliah wajib dan 6 mata kuliah pilihan. Kuliah pilihan ini dipilih
dari 21 mata kuliah pilihan yang ditawarkan prodi. Gambar 5-1 menunjukkan
organigram kurikulum 2016 yang dijalankan prodi. Tabel selanjutnya adalah mata
kuliah-mata kuliah yang ditawarkan di Prodi S1-TE di dalam Kurikulum 2016.

complete a minimum of 144 credits. These total credits consist of 49 compulsory subjects and 6 out of
21 elective subjects offered. Figure 5-1 presents the organigram of 2016 curriculum adopted by the
study program. The following table contains the subjects offered in the 2016 Curriculum.

6.2 Skenario Ekuivalensi Angkatan 2015


Mahasiswa S1-TE 2015 dapat dinyatakan lulus TPB bila
a. Lulus semua mata kulian (MK) tingkat 1 kurikulum 2012 dengan IPK >= 2,00, atau
b. Hanya tidak lulus MK HUG1H2 Pengetahuan Lingkungan dan MUG1E3 Aljabar Linier
dengan IPK >= 2,00.

Bagi mahasiswa S1-TE 2015 yang belum lulus TPB:


a. Prodi menyediakan ujian khusus di akhir Semester Genap 2015/ 2016 berdasarkan
hasil sidang akademik,
b. Mahasiswa yang tidak lulus (proses) ujian khusus harus mengambil mata kuliah yang
ekuivalen di kurikulum 2016 beserta DUH1A2 Literasi TIK dan LUH2C2 Bahasa
Inggris II.
c. Bila berhasil lulus TPB, MK HUG1H2 Pengetahuan Lingkungan (Kurikulum 2012) dan
MK DUH1A2 Literasi TIK (Kurikulum 2016) dapat menggantikan MK FEH2D2
Studium Generale.

Catatan
a. Bila mahasiswa tidak lulus MK HUG1A2 Pengetahuan Lingkungan, maka mata kuliah
tersebut akan dihapus dari transkrip akademik karena tidak dapat diulang;
b. Bila mahasiswa tidak lulus MK MUG1E3 Aljabar Linear, maka mata kuliah tersebut
harus diganti dengan MK MUH1G3 Matriks dan Ruang Vektor di semester 4;

6.2 Equivalence Scenario for 2015 intake students


The 2015 intake students will pass TPB (first year) when:

a. Students have completed all first year subjects of the 2012 Curriculum with a GPA of at least 2.00,
or
b. Students have completed all subjects except for HUGH1H2 Knowledge of Environment and or
MUG1E3 Linier Algebra and they have a GPA of at least 2.00.

The 2015 intake students who have not completed the TPB:

a. have to take particular examinations considered by the academic council meeting at the end of the
second semester of 2015/2016 academic years.
b. If they cannot complete those particular examinations, they have to take the equivalent subjects
included in 2016 Curriculum, DUH1A2 ICT Literacy, and LUH2C2 English II.
c. When they successfully pass TPB, the combined HUGH1H2 Knowledge of Environment (part of
the 2012 Curriculum) and DUH1A2 ICT Literacy (part of 2016 Curriculum) can replace FEH2D2
Studium Generale.

Notes:
a. If students cannot complete HUGH1A2 Knowledge of Environment, this subject will be eliminated
from their academic transcript records, because the 2016 curriculum does not have this subject.
b. If students cannot complete MUG1E3 Linear Algebra, they must take MUH1G3 Matrices and Vector
Space in the 4th semester;
c. The 2015 intake students should take at least 3 elective subjects.

6.3 Skenario Ekuivalensi Angkatan 2014


a. Mahasiswa S1-TE 2014 dinyatakan lulus TPB bila lulus semua mata kuliah Tingkat
1 Kurikulum 2012 dengan IPK >= 2,00. Bila mahasiswa S1-TE 2014 belum lulus
TPB, maka yang bersangkutan harus mengundurkan diri/ drop-out dari Tel-U.
b. Bila mahasiswa S1-TE 2014 belum lulus mata kuliah di Tingkat 2 Kurikulum 2012,
maka yang bersangkutan harus mengulang dengan mengambil mata kuliah yang
ekuivalen di Kurikulum 2016.
Catatan
a. Bila mahasiswa tidak lulus MK BUG1E2 Bahasa Inggris II, maka mata kuliah tersebut
akan dihapus dari transkrip akademik karena tidak dapat diulang;

6.3 Equivalence Scenario for 2014 intake students
a. 2014 intake students completed TPB if they have passed all subjects in TPB in the Curriculum 2012
with a GPA of at least 2.00. If they had not completed TPB, they will be dropped-out from Telkom
University.
b. If students did not complete the 2nd-year subjects of the 2012 Curriculum, they should repeat the
examination of the equivalent subjects in the 2016 Curriculum.

Notes

a. If a students do not pass BUG1E2 English II, this subject will be eliminated from their academic
transcript records because the 2016 curriculum does not accommodate this subject;
b. If students have not passed ELG221 Basic Electronics Eng. Lab. II, they do not have to take the

6.4 Skenario Ekuivalensi Angkatan 2013


Bila mahasiswa S1-TE 2013 belum lulus mata kuliah di Tingkat 3 Kurikulum 2012, maka
yang bersangkutan harus mengulang dengan mengambil mata kuliah yang ekuivalen di
kurikulum 2016, termasuk mata kuliah yang ekuivalennya ada di tingkat 2.

Catatan:
a. Bila mahasiswa tidak lulus MK BUG1E2 Bahasa Inggris II, FEG2G3 Jaringan Komputer
dan Data, atau ELG3A3 Mikroprosesor, maka mata kuliah tersebut akan dihapus dari
transkrip akademik karena tidak dapat diulang;
b. Mahasiswa yang tidak lulus MK ELG311 Praktikum Teknik Elektro I (Semester 5) dan
MK ELG321 Praktikum Teknik Elektro II (Semester 6) di Kurikulum 2012
dimungkinkan lulus mata kuliah praktikum ekuivalennya di Kurikulum 2016; Untuk
kasus demikian mahasiswa yang bersangkutan hanya perlu mengambil sks mata
kuliah ekuivalen tersebut tanpa perlu mengulang kegiatan praktikumnya;

Tabel berikut adalah daftar mata kuliah yang perlu diambil oleh mahasiswa Prodi S1-
Teknik Elektro angkatan 2013 bila telah lulus Tingkat 1, Tingkat 2 dan Tingkat 3 secara
normal (110 sks). Perlu diwaspadai bila mahasiswa telah mengambil MK Pancasila dan
Kewarganegaraan di Kurikulum 2012 yang SKS-nya hanya 2. Hal ini dapat
mengakibatkan SKS total hanya 143. Untuk kasus ini, mahasiswa dianjurkan mengambil
MK FEH2D2 Studium Generale (2 SKS).

6.4 Equivalence Scenario for 2013 intake students


The 2013 intake students who have not completed all 3rd-year subjects in the 2012 curriculum must
retake all the equivalent subjects in the 2016 curriculum, including designated subjects in the second
year.

Notes:
a. If students have not completed BUG1E2 English II, ELG2G3 Computer Network and Data, or
ELG3A3 Microcontroller, those subjects will be eliminated from their academic transcript records
because it cannot be repeated in the 2016 curriculum;
b. Students who have not completed ELG311 Electronics Lab Work I (5th Semester) and ELG321
Electronics Lab Work II (6th Semester) in the 2012 curriculum have the possibility to pass the
equivalent laboratory work in the 2016 curriculum without doing laboratory works; in this case, the
students only need to register themselves to the equivalent subjects in the 2016 curriculum;
c. Three out of these following four subjects (i) can substitute FEH2D2 Studium Generale, and (ii) if
their grades are at least equal to C, can substitute two elective subjects in the fourth year:

The following table is the list of the 2016 curriculum subjects for the 2013 intake students who have
completed all TPB, the 2nd-year subjects, and the 3rd-year subjects in their first 3-years with 110 credits.
Students need to take attention when HUG1G2 Pancasila and Civics in the 2012 curriculum has been
taken, because its credit is only 2; this makes the total credits only 143. In such a case, they are
encouraged to take an additional subject, e.g. FEH2D2 Studium Generale.

7 Brief Description of Subjects

1. MUH1A4 Kalkulus 1 A/ MUH1A4 Calculus 1 A

Mata kuliah Kalkulus 1 ditujukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan terkait dasar-dasar


kalkulus yang diperlukan dalam tingkat sarjana. Materi yang diberikan di antaranya
adalah sistem bilangan real, fungsi, limit dan kekontinuan, turunan dan aplikasinya,
integral dan aplikasinya, fungsi transenden, dan integral tak wajar. Dengan perkuliahan
ini mahasiswa diharapkan dapat memahami konsep turunan dan integral fungsi satu
variabel dan aplikasinya.

Calculus 1 is to provide the students with fundamental knowledge of calculus required in


the undergraduate level. The materials will be among others system of real numbers,
function, limits and continuity, derivatives and its applications, integrals and its
applications, function of transcendent, and improper integrals. It is expected that the
students understand the concept of derivative and function integral of one variable and its
applications.

paragraphs, 3) understanding terminology and definitions, 4) selecting topics, themes, titles,
and drafting the framework of scientific works, 5) writing introduction, literature study,
analysis, and conclusions, initial and ending complementary, 6) understanding the
convention of scientific paper: typing, citations and bibliography, and 7) avoiding

6. DUH1A2 Literasi TIK/ DUH1A2 ICT Literacy


Literasi TIK membahas dan mempraktekkan kompetensi literasi TIK. Dimulai dengan
membahas dasar dan komponen TIK, kemudian akan berfokus pada kompetensi literasi
TIK yang meliputi analisa kebutuhan informasi untuk menyelesaikan suatu masalah.
Kemudian melakukan penemuan informasi yang dibutuhkan secara efektif dan efisien
dan melakukan evaluasi terhadap informasi yang dihasilkan dan proses penemuannya.
Informasi kemudian akan disimpan dan dikelola. Dilanjutkan dengan proses membangun
konsep baru atau membuat pemahaman baru dari informasi yang ada. Selain itu juga
akan dipelajari penggunaan informasi dengan pemahaman dan mengakui budaya, etika,
ekonomi, masalah hukum, dan sosial seputar penggunaan informasi.

ICT literacy discusses and practices ICT literacy competencies. It begins with discussing
basic and ICT components, then it will focus on ICT literacy competencies which include
information need analysis to solve problems. The next step is searching the needed
information effectively and efficiently and evaluating the information produced and the
searching process. The information will then be stored and managed. Further, it will be
continued with the process of building a new concept or create a new understanding of the
available information. This subject also discusses the use of information by understanding
and recognizing culture, ethics, economics, legal, and social matters about the use of
information.

Mahasiswa memahami dan menguasai konsep turunan dan integral fungsi peubah
banyak. Selanjutnya mahasiswa diharapkan memiliki ketrampilan menerapkan konsep-
konsep dasar tersebut sebagai alat bantu pada mata kuliah selanjutnya. Adapun materi
perkuliahannya adalah barisan dan deret, persamaan diferensial biasa, fungsi vektor,
fungsi dua peubah, integral lipat dua dan tiga, integral garis dan integral permukaan.

Calculus 2A is provided to the students so that they understand and master the concepts of
derivative and integral function of lots variables. Furthermore, students are expected to
have skills to apply the basic concepts as a means to other subjects. The subject is the
sequence and series, ordinary differential equations, vector functions, functions of two
variables, integral double and triple, line integrals and surface integrals.

bahan (dielektrik, konduktor, bahan magnetis) juga dibahas untuk melihat bagaimana
reaksinya terhadap medan elektromagnetika.
Electromagnetics gives students the theory and basic electromagnetics through
understanding the concepts and laws of electromagnetics. The materials contain vector
analysis, including vector algebra, vector calculus, coordinate systems and complex
numbers needed to understand the electricity and magnetisity. The concept of Maxwell's
equations is described Gauss's law, Faraday's law, and Ampere's law in integral form. This
is to facilitate problem-solving then derived into the differential form of Maxwell's equations.
As an example of using the Maxwell equation is the analysis of uniform plane wave in the
vacuum/air medium and static fields. The characteristics of various types of materials
(dielectrics, conductors, magnetic materials) are also discussed to see the reaction to the
electromagnetic field.

Basic-On-the-Job Traing or Geladi is an off-campus activity in a company, in which the
students train themselves in basic industrial operation. The students are expected to develop
not only technical skills but also soft skills needed for their future professional life. This
activity will enrich the students’ perception of real working environment when they
graduate.
The subject will be followed by the Kerja Praktek (on-the-job training) in the following year

Perkuliahan ini dirancang untuk mengenalkan teknologi yang digunakan dalam


mendesain antarmuka rangkaian PC (personal computer) atau Mikrokomputer unutk
mengendalikan atau berinteraksi dengan perangkat ekternal. Perkuliahan berfokus pada
fungsi struktur dan operasional PC atau mikrokomputer; konektor perangkat dan format
sinyalnya; komunikasi standar parallel dan serial seperti I2C, ModBus, TWI, RS232,
RS485, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Merancang dan membuat perangkat
prototipe dan modul perangkat lunak untuk implementasi dan pengujian pada rangkaian
antarmuka.

System Interface and Integration is designed to introduce technology used for designing an
interface of PC or Microcomputer circuit to control and interact with external devices. The
subject focuses on the structure and the operational functions of a typical PC or
Microcomputer; device connectors and its signal format; standard parallel and serial
communications such as I2C, ModBus, TWI, RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,
Zigbee. The students will learn how to design and build modules of prototypes, hardware,
and software. Then they have to implement then test these modules on interfacing circuits.

Setelah mengambil mata kuliah ini, diharapkan mahasiswa memahami konsep dasar dan
aplikasi pengendalian dalam berbagai bidang keteknikan dan sebagai dasar untuk
mempelajari metode pengendalian tingkat lanjut termasuk kendali cerdas. Mahasiswa
akan diberi wawasan tentang sistem pengaturan dan aplikasinya dalam bidang
keteknikan. Materinya meliputi: matematika untuk kendali (Laplace's transform), sistem
kendali lup terbuka (open loop) dan sistem kendali lup tertutup (close loop), fungsi alih,

Basic Control Systems discusses the basic concepts and control applications in engineering
as a basis for studying advanced control methods including intelligent control. The
materials consist of mathematic tool (Laplace's transform), open-loop control system and
closed loop control system, transfer function, signal flow graph, state space, control signal
include proportional integral derivative (PID), stability analysis using Routh, Nyquist and
Bode plot, and also frequency response of system of first and second-order. At the end of the
semester, students are expected to be able to implement PID control.

Pemrosesan sinyal dalam sistem waktu diskrit (digital) dapat dilakukan dalam kawasan
waktu yang dijabarkan dengan berbagai operasi sinyal, antara lain konvolusi dan korelasi
sinyal. Pemrosesan juga dapat dijelaskan dalam kawasan frekuensi dengan
memanfaatkan Transformasi Fourier, Transformasi Fourier Diskret, FFT dan
transformasi-Z serta transformasi diskrit lainnya yang akan mendukung keperluan
analisa-sintesa sistem diskret. Perancangan Filter Digital IIR dan FIR dengan berbagai
metode merupakan bentuk analisa-sintesa sistem digital secara konkrit.

Signal processing in a discrete time system (digital) can be done within the time described
in various operating signals, among others, convolution and correlation of signals. The

processing can also be explained in a frequency area by using a Fourier transformation,
discrete Fourier transformation, FFT and Z-transformation and other discrete
transformation that supports the needs of analysis-synthesis of discrete systems. The Design

Digital Control System develops the students’ competency to understand digital control
system concept. At the beginning it discusses and reviews the basics of control system in
general such as modelling system to transfer function or state space and the application
example of control system. Next, it discusses Signal sampling and reconstruction, Sampling
theorem (Nyquist and Shanon), ADC and DAC circuits, reviewing discrete system such as z-

frekuensi tinggi. Materi yang dibahas antara lain impedance matching, kestabilan, ouput
power, distorsi, dan rugi-rugi. Beberapa aplikasi yang dibahas antara lain: penguat sinyal
kecil, sinyal besar, low-noise, dan berumpan balik. Dipelajari juga perancangan osilator
dan mixer dengan mengacu kebutuhan suatu sistem.

High-Frequency Electronics discusses the impedance matching, device modelling, circuit


stability, power output, distortion, and component losses and parasitic are examined. This
is illustrated in a number of applications such as small-signal, large-signal, low-noise, and
feedback amplifiers with discrete transistors. Low-noise design considerations are also
introduced. Oscillators and mixers are also designed to meet demanding systems
requirements. The subject emphasizes hands-on design and simulation of many circuit types,
considering their linearity, efficiency, and power requirements.

dan lain-lain dan memberikan kemampuan melakukan analisa dan simulasi atas desain
pembangkitan listrik menggunakan sumber energi terbarukan tersebut berikut analisa
dan simulasi karakter sambungannya terhadap jaringan listrik dan pengguna listrik.
This course provides the understanding of the characters of electricity generation form
various renewable energy sources, such as wind, water, sun, and biomass, It requires
students to analyses and simulate on power plants using the renewable energy sources.
