EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES

Level: A1
Length: 6 hours
Students profile: Teenagers from 14 to 17 years; they attend 3 English hours per
week.

Objectives:
- Students will be able to talk about daily routines
- Students will use appropriately simple present positive statements and WH-
questions giving short answers.

Methodology:

*The idea of this unit, in terms of methodology, is to have students involved in real
everyday situations, in which they can use the language with communicative
purposes.

*During the development of this unit the teacher is not going to be a knowledge
transmitter but a moderator, a guide, a facilitator, a monitor who can clarify and
correct students doubts and mistakes and help them to develop their communicative
competence.

*Most of the activities will be developed in groups or pairs so that students can
interact and share ideas in order to achieve the goals in a faster and collaborative
way.

*Grammar does not play a relevant role since it is only taken as a part of the
language that is not crucial in terms of communication.

Assesment:

Here the assessment is carried out during the whole six hours with constant feedback
students receive from the teacher.

Material:

-Handouts

-CD players
