ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine how much the relationship
between entrepreneurial interest and self-efficacy with learning outcomes of
learning basic competency of welding techniques in class XI students of light
vehicle engineering at SMK Yapim Mabar Medan T.A 2019/2020. This study uses
a quantitative research approach with a correlational research method, using a
Likert model questionnaire and learning outcomes tests. The total population is 65
students and a sample of 39 students is obtained, the method of sampling using
Proportional Sampling techniques. The instrument validity test uses the Product
Moment correlation coefficient, and the reliability test uses Cronbach's Alpha and
the Coefficient of Agreement. The results of the study were analyzed using Product
Moment correlation correlation coefficient partial correlation and multiple
correlation with the help of SPSS 16. Based on data analysis, it shows that there is
a positive and meaningful relationship between entrepreneurship interests and the
learning outcomes of the basic competencies of welding techniques (r = 0.462)
positive and meaningful between self-efficacy and learning outcomes of basic
welding technique competencies (r = 0.775). The results of the regression analysis
are as follows: Fh = 53.789 the price of Ft = 3.260 at a significant level of 5%, so
that Fh > Ft (53.789> 3.260), that the regression equation Y = 11.295 + 0.245X 1 +
0.605X 2 . Thus the variables of entrepreneurial interest, self-efficacy and learning
outcomes of the basic competencies of welding techniques have a significant
relationship. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant
relationship between entrepreneurial interest and self-efficacy with the learning
outcomes of the basic competency of welding techniques in class XI of light vehicle
engineering at SMK Yapim Mabar Medan in Academic Year 2019/2020
