His responsibilities in various assignments have included Data Conversions, Customizations, Development of
application engine programs, Development of SQR programs.
System was being used by AMD from long time and being a separation project it was really difficult to separate
the business functionality required for Global foundries.
It was required to Analyze Business process, required for Global Foundries business, Identify the System
Configurations required for Global foundries business process.
Identify the System Configuration, which was related to old AMD system and report for delete.
Do the system configuration as per Global foundries business process.
Identify all batch jobs related to global foundries business process.
Identify the entire custom program which was being used by AMD and can be used by global foundries.
Once the business process was identified, write the test cases for each and every business functionality.
Execute the various test cycles using those test cases and find out the system defect.
Perform the re-configuration of system based on defects and re-test the functionality.
During ITC cycles, many show stoppers were reported due to the conflict of old AMD related configurations
and it was required immediate attention to fix it .
Identify all the interfaces from global foundries SRM system like all external catalog and interface between SRM
and ECC.
Perform the interface testing for all interfaces.
Fix all the interfaces if any issue reported at the time of interface testing.
Prepare various levels of mock cut over and give mock system to users for there testing the complete end to
end business functionality.
Before Mock cut over prepare the check list as per the global foundry business process and the show stoppers
reported in the past.
During mock cut over users reported many concerns, resolve them as very quickly considering original go –live
in mind.
Part of go-live team; ensure system gone live with out any error.
Support the end users at the time of hyper care.
Fix all the issues reported at the time of hyper care.
Contribution -
During the ITC testing there was a major show stopper which created a disconnect between a SRM system and
ECC system. Awanendra did analysis of the show stopper and investigated that major SAP standard batch jobs
were not running that has resulted the show stopper in front of business. Awanendra scheduled the batch job
and established the connectivity between SRM System and ECC System that resulted the procurement cycle to
continue. To resolve the above show stopper Awanendra designed the Functional Specification and submitted
to basis team to schedule the SAP standard batch jobs.
Awanendra participated in Analyzing the other show stopper issues like product categories were not getting
replicated from ECC system to SRM system. Awanendra did analysis of complete system and found that while
migrating from AMD system to GF system CRM middle ware settings were disturbed. Awanendra worked with
SAP Basis team and re-configured the complete CRM middle ware settings so in future product categories can
be replicated from ECC to SRM. To resolve the above show stopper Awanendra designed the business
configuration document for CRM middle ware settings and submitted to basis team to configure the system
accordingly.
During the ITC cycle, GF decided to implement a new vendor named “Topan” with in Catalog management

After creating the Requisition and if SAP Push fails, new version of Requisition was created and user
was not able to edit Ship To & Company Code. Also Drop Ship was not being accepted by SAP.
Awanendra designed and develop the solution to fix this defect.
Awanendra develop the style sheet for PrintHook.
Commodity Import Map Entries was not being deleted from CSV file, Awanendra provided the
solution to fix this defect.
