Question 1

Last Friday, during the assembly the pupils were reminded to gather in school by seven in the

evening. This was because my school held a celebration on Lantern Festival. I was very proud to attend

because my beautiful lantern was nominated in the top five from my class.

On the night, all the parents and pupils were gathered in the hall. My family and I enjoyed the dance

and performances. The dance were performed by the Year 6 Shen pupils about lantern festival. There was

also a fashion show performed by the Year 4 Qun pupils. Lastly, before it ended the headmistress gave a

speech to all of us. She thanked us for coming to the celebration of the Lantern Festival.

I was really happy and delightful that night. I hope I can come again next year.

Last Monday, Suzie was walking home from tuition. It was a very hot afternoon. Suddenly, she saw

a group of boys cycling their bicycle in the middle of the busy road.

She stopped the boys. She told them that it was dangerous to cycle in the middle of the road. There

were many vehicles and they will be injured. Luckily, the boys listened to her advice.

They cycled at the park nearby. Suzie was very happy because it will be safer for them. She was also

feeling relieved because they listened to her advice. She was as happy as a lark on that day.
