Position: Steward
Location: Komandoo Island Resort & Spa, Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives

Summary of Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dedicated Steward to be responsible for ensuring all sanitation standards are met. Attention
to detail is necessary to clean and maintain equipment and work areas, according to the company and HACCP
standards.

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities:
• Ensure cleaning schedule is adhered to and to the required standard and the proper set up of all side stations
in the outlet
• Ensure a full hand-over between the AM and PM shift
• Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
• Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
• Perform any additional duties or special projects as directed by the Resort Management
• Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other departments, as required. Contribute to the moral and
team spirit of the resort by maintaining good relationships with colleagues
• Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of the Maldivian law
• Required to adhere to the standards laid down in regards to punctuality, performance, attitude, team work,
guest relations, staff relations, observance of resort rules, and loyalty to the Management and
interdepartmental co-operation

Requirements:
• Proven experience in similar position
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to work in less or without supervision
• Excellent command of spoken English
• Must have mechanical skills to operate electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors
and glass crushers
