Manage Inventory - Add/Archive Products from Inventory

Upon logging into 3E Protect you will come to the Home Page. From here you may navigate to any of
the tabs you see at the top of the screen. Click the Inventory tab to search and manage your site
specific inventories.

3E Protect provides the ability to manage your hazardous materials at a site or location by creating and
maintaining a chemical inventory. Click on Manage Inventory to walk through the process of adding or
archiving products from an inventory.

To add or archive products from an inventory select the location from the facility tree on the left hand
side. Click the + sign to see a list of locations for your account.

Use the Search Criteria to locate a specific product by selecting the criterion to search by.

When searching for an SDS, use the drop down box to select a filter: Product Name, Manufacturer
Name, Manufacturer Part Number, or any Custom Value set by your company. Select Product Name.

By clicking on Contains, which is a keyword search, this will narrow the search accordingly. The drop-

down allows for "contains", "equals", "begins with" or "ends with".

have set, as it appears on the label of the container.

Search fields within 3E Protect are powered by 3E Suggest. This technology is activated when you enter
at least 3 characters in the search field. A drop down box will appear with suggestions. Choose 
Acetone.

Click Go. The search results will return the Product Name, Manufacturer Name and Mfg. Part #.

Add products to the location's inventory by checking the box next to the product. You can select
multiple products at one time.

there has been a change. A red flag will display next to any product as a change has been made. Click

To locate another product, simply resume the search by selecting any of the drop downs in the Search
