1. Introduction
- 5th grade of primary education.
- The topic is past simple.
- Children learn to differentiate regular and irregular verbs and when they have to use
the past simple.
- Three sessions with three different games.
- Gamification methodology → Children learn easier in a dynamic and fun way.
- Constructivism → Previous knowledge → Basic vocabulary and verbs.
- Proposals → Students enjoy while they learn.
2. Contextualization
- School : Sotomayor y Terrazas / Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz)
- 25 children : 15 girls and 10 boys
- 10-11 years old
- None of those students have special educational needs.
- Level in English → Medium
- The class doesn´t present difficulties in English
- Teacher can provide adaptations and extra help too.
- If It is necessary an extra lesson.
- Background: Medium class families.

Pass the ball as fast as possible, when teacher counts 20,


boom! You have to tell the past form of a regular verb
the teacher will tell you!

Teacher will give a paper to each child. In the papers appear infinitive and
irregular verbs. They should find their partners with a scarf in their eyes. In
addition, they should say the verb in their paper.

Children have to say the verb in the past form.
Each letter can be a regular or an irregular verb.
