Introduction
In the past few years, a new wireless architecture has been introduced
that do not rely on any fixed infrastructure. Mobile ad hoc network
(MANET) is based on rapid deployment of independent mobile users. The
routers are free to move randomly and organize themselves arbitrarily
thus; the network’s wireless topology may change rapidly and
unpredictably. Such a network may operate in a stand-alone fashion, or
may be connected to the Internet. Multihop, mobility, bandwidth
properties of MANET able to perform in large network size combined with
various device heterogeneity modes.
The purpose of this Book is to solicit high-quality theoretical & practical
work on the landscape of Technological Advancement and Application in
Mobile Ad-hoc Networks, Also covering Recent advances in mobile and
wireless test beds and related research infrastructures that will further
improve the scope and possibilities of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks.
Target Audience
IGI Global will publish the book in 2012. This book will serve as a reference
book of Ad-Hoc Network, Networking. Moreover, the book will provide in-
depth concerned with MANET, Ad-Hoc Networking and relevance areas
and MANET applications with the real time research application glossary.
This book will having scholarly value for advanced level Students,
Academicians, Researchers in the area of Networking and Professionals
working with MANET Application, Security challenges, Performance and
many parameters. .
Technical Contents
The chapters may contain any, or a combination, of the following research
contributions in the above mentioned areas:
- Theoretical Models and Formal Verifications/Proofs
- Algorithms, Middleware, Protocol, and Performance by Simulation
- Real-World Design, Implementation, and Performance Evaluation
- Software Design, Software Models, Implementations and Verifications,
Performance
Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before
December 30, 2010 a 2-3 pages chapter proposal clearly explaining the
mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors of accepted
proposals will be notified by February 15, 2011 about the status of their
proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be
submitted by before December 30, 2010. All submitted chapters will be
reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be
requested to serve as reviewers for this project. Submit to Dr. Kamaljit I.
