I. Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, at least 80% of the students should be able to:
1. Calculate specified measures of position
2. Solve problems involving measures of position

II. Subject Matter

a. Topic: Solving problems of Measures of Position

b. Reference: Mathematics 10 Learner’s Material, p. 394-397
c. Materials: Powerpoint presentation, cartolina

III. Procedure: (Deductive Method)

a. Motivation:

Group Activity:

The teacher will group the students into 5 groups and they will do
the GUESSING GAME.

b. Presentation:

Teacher will present the lesson through Powerpoint Presentation.

c. Discussion:

Teacher will give problems about the measures of position.

 The following is a distribution for the number of employees in 45

companies belonging to a certain industry. Calculate the 3rd
quartile, 85th percentile, and 4th decile of the number of employees
given the number of companies.
