It has been manufactured to stringent quality standards, which makes it highly reliable. Since the technology
used is 100% indigenous, the product is expected to work efficiently in Indian conditions and is, ideally suited
for application in the country. Its specifications are subject to an on-going process of in-house research and
development, a good part of the inputs coming from actual users like you.

While we do not expect the product to malfunction in any manner, it nevertheless carries a 12-months limited
warranty against all manufacturing defects.

FEATURES

• Warning alarm before the UPS shuts off due to low battery.
• Built-in 12V 7AH maintenance free battery.
• Low battery cut-off system to protect deep discharging of battery.
• Automatic voltage regulation on mains.

FRONT PANEL CONTROLS

UPS ON/OFF Switch - To switch “ON” the UPS

INDICATIONS MESSAGE

Low Battery - Indicates that the battery has discharged to a voltage below 9.5 volts
and the UPS should be turned “OFF” till A.C. mains gets normal.

Mains/Batt. - “Green” indicates stand by and “Orange indicates mains A.C. is normal.
“Red” indicates mains is above 275 Volts or below 150 A.C. Volt and
UPS is running on battery.

REAR PANEL CONTROLS

220V Output - These 3 sockets are in parallel for connecting total load of maximum
(Max. 600VA/360 Watts) 600VA/360 Watts

Mains Fuse - Mains fuse for protecting A.C. input from short circuit in the output
(3 Amp) sockets.

POWER FAILURE AND OTHER CONDITIONS

1. In case of power failure or the mains voltage being out of range, the UPS will switch to back up mode and
the Mains/Batt. failure indication will turn red. The computer system will operate continuously without
interruption.
2. Unless you have back up Generator or Inverter it is important to save the data on the disk because the
UPS cannot support the computer indefinitely.

3. In the battery mode when the UPS gives audio alarm indicating that the battery voltage has discharged
below 10.5V, the data should be saved on computer and then turned “OFF”.

4. If the UPS is not turned “OFF” in the discharge condition of battery in the battery mode then after a fixed
time it will automatically shut “OFF”. The low battery indication on the front panel will remain “ON” It is
then important to turn “OFF” the power switch because battery would still be drained slowly to support the
buzzer and LED indications.

INSTALLATION

1. The UPS should be installed in a ventilated space and its perforations for ventilation should not be
covered.

2. Earth pin of the mains lead of the UPS should be earthed. This should be ensured before even putting the
equipment “ON”.

3. Ensure that there is no loose contact of 3 pin plugs at 220 Volt output of UPS.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

FAULT REMEDY

1. The UPS remains in Battery mode - Check mains lead connection


and mains failure is indicated on the - Check mains voltage, it should be between
Front panel 150 Volts and 275 Volts
- The mains fuse might have blown “OFF”

2. UPS doesn’t work during mains failure - The battery might have not been charged fully
due to frequent power failure.

PRECAUTION

Ensure that Earth is connected to the UPS through the earth pin of the main lead.
TERMS OF WARRANTY

1. The warranty is valid for a period of 12 months, from the date of purchase or 15 months from the date of
manufacture, whichever is earlier.

2. The benefit under the warranty is only available to the first purchaser and only when the item is
purchased from us or our authorised dealer.

3. Our decision on defects, damages etc. shall be final and binding.

4. The item should be delivered alongwith this warranty card at our, service centre, at the purchaser' s
expense. All expenses incurred in sending or collecting the unit or its parts shall be borne by the
purchaser.

5. Any indirect or consequential loss is excluded from the warranty obligation.

6. The warranty is not valid if:

a) The damage is caused by misuse, wilful or accidental damage.

b) Any modifications or alterations of any nature are made in the UPS.

c) Any repairs are carried out on the equipment by any person other than our authorised representative.

7. Any dispute arising out of this warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court within the city of
DELHI only.
