tulis ini terselesaikan denagan judul “Inovasi Teknologi Sebagai Upaya
Pelestarian Aksara Incung” .

 RINGKASAN

The letters of Incung is an ancient writing which has a characteristic on its angled
writing. Then, due to this shape of writing, it is easier to write the letters of
Incung on segments of bamboo. The letters of Incung is an intellectual wealth
owned by Kerincinese tribe in Jambi Province. Kerinci is located in the top of
Andalas, West Sumatra, which indicates that Kerinci is in the middle of Jambi and
West Sumatra

The letters of Incung is the only writing found in Jambi Province. It is an honour
and a pride for Kerincinese for its cultural wealth. The letters of Incung is an
ancient writing which was found in Kerinci and is one of the most valuable
cultural and historical heritages in Jambi Province. Nevertheless, this heritage is
let unpreserved.

As the technologies develop, attempts to preserve the Incung are getting easier
and more efficient. The use of computers, websites, and smartphones as a the
medium to learn the letters of Incung in the form of animated-flash software seem
to be more efficient. The software in the form of animated flash can be used as a
medium to build the concept and give the visualization for the students in learning
the letters of Incung. As most of the students are interested in the use of
technology in learning, it is hoped that they are interested in learning the letters
of Incung as well.
