This checklist is to help you make sure that you are on the right track for our project. Before checking
off an item on the list, MAKE SURE that it is actually DONE, WHERE it is supposed to be, and
FOLLOWS THE GUIDELINES!
3 thumbnail sketches, IN COLOR, with text, for your final poster design. (If you included
these in your PowerPoint, print them out and tape them into your sketchbook.)
I should already have (in a class folder - you can check if you are not sure):
WHEN we turn in the final project (not yet), that will include:
1 “final thumbnail sketch” (template) that is the full size you have chosen for your poster,
has text, and is completely in color. Your design:
Has at least 3 colors
Has text that connects to your cause
Has an image that connects to your cause
Has a 1” border around it
You followed ALL directions on the “Final Project Beginning Guidelines” worksheet
An “edition” of 3 final spray-painted posters [we will talk more about this later, but you
should check to make sure that the 3 posters:]
Are identical to each other (as close as possible)
Are the same colors (but you may have additional “variations” with different colors)
Have no smudges, rips, tears, or obvious errors
A paragraph about your poster. You should include: the name of the organization, a brief
history of the organization, what the organization does, why you personally are interested in
or feel connected to the organization, and finally explain the thinking behind your poster
design. (This paragraph is basically like a summary of your presentation - you have already
done the work!) Your paragraph will need to be typed.
