- Our group believes it would be useful to research more in-depth into Theme / Issue;
- Our group is excited about this theme as teaching is

- Our group finds it worrisome that the perceptions


of teachers could change (potentially negatively)
in the future and as a result, this could affect us
in terms of how we are seen by pupils as well as
parents and the wider community.

S - What is your current stance / opinion on the theme / issue? how might you move forward in your
evaluation of this stance?

- Our group believes that this theme is currently an ever changing and widely contested topic within
education theory and practice. Currently we perceive that there is a broad spectrum of teachers and
as a result it is hard to pinpoint and exact perception that represents the full and broad spectrum of
differing practices which lead to the differing perceptions of teachers. In order to evaluate this
stance we can try to categorise the main perceptions of teachers (i.e; the strict teacher, nice
teacher, etc...)

- In order to evaluate our group’s stance on the theme we will try to categorise the main perceptions
of teachers (i.e; the strict teacher, nice teacher, etc...) In an attempt to gain a better and more
developed understanding of how teachers are perceived and how this could potentially impact on
them professionally and in their practice.
