ACTIVIDAD 1

This text tells that the explanation of teacher in the classroom will be influenced by the
child´s knowledge, experiences, cirunstances, attitudes,etc, and especially for his maturity
and not simply by the children´s physical age.
And how to teach the teacher and the child´s learning depends on the child´s developmental
stage and should be taught what is appropriate for his age.
The teacher should always maintain child´s motivation with stimulating activities for him (for
example, games and songs with actions, tasks of coloring, painting, cutting, etc.) and use
tasks that are within his abilities.
And with older children activities should be implemented with a language as a vehicle of
communication and not on the grammar.
Whether an activity is enjoyable and fun children will learn more motived and motivation in
learning is a factor very important to bear mind.

I totally agree with sara´s text, children´s learning depends mainly of their maturity and so
this should be a factor to bear mind and not only the age.
It is also true that the activities will be appropriates for their age and it is very important that
these activities will motive the child.

ACTIVIDAD 2

My school experience wasn´t bad but it could have been better, because my first teacher
should have been more fun and more motivating to a subject that was new to us, since the
beginning is very important and influences the student enought.
In my opinion with young learners English lessons should be as enjoyable as possible to
motivate students and if they are motivated they more learning.
Also I believe that children practice very little communication oral (speaking) in the class, I
think that it would be good practice more communication and pronunciation from the
beginning and that children should start learnig English from kindergarten.

ACTIVIDAD 3

In primary school the best teachers for me were Mr. Salvador (math), Ms.Isabel (language),
Ms. Encarni (english). these teachers liked me because they explained very well. they
demonstrated that they liked their work and motivated them to learn us also his way of
explaining it was very good with what we learned easily.

ACTIVIDAD 4

WHICH LANGUAGE TO USE IN CLASS?

For Sarah Phillips is essential to use as much English as possible in class, even she believes
that children should be inculcate to use only English in English classes.
Acording to her the teacher often seeks the easiest way to explain the lesson and it uses the
mother tongue, but this isn´t the correct way for children learn because they have to be clear
when they must use English and when they are alowed to use their mother tongue.
Also she believes that both the teacher and the child must use English everyday in classroom
routine actions, because these are the most communicative situations that can help children in
their learning. In these classes the teacher can use gestures to that children find it easier to
understand what the teacher tells them. And to increase the use the English in the classroom a
goog way to Sarah proposed is to write the most commonly used phrases in speech bubbles to
children play and learn with them repeating several times.

In my oponion the way that Sarah proposes to children learn is the best way to learn English
there. Everithing she says is true, for a children to learn is very important that they practice in
class what is being taugh as much as possible.

WHY USE ENGLISH?

This text discusses the importance of gestures and practice English in beginner´s classes. Is
very important that English classes are in English, so children become familiar with the use
of language for communication, learning unconsciously with the repetitive nature of
classroom English situations and think in English for themselves.

As the text says, if children get used to that classes are in English, they learning much easier
and better, and they get familiarize with the language: The best way to learn is to practice
naturally with real situations.
