Learning Objective: Your child will learn about setting goals for the new year and write them
down.

Activity: Explain to your child that a new year’s resolution is a goal you make for the year. Ask
them if there is anything they would like to do in the coming year. Talk about it and let
them know these are their goals for the new year.
