JOB PROFILE FOR MARKETING- Credit Insurance

1. ROLE :

To develop new business as well as mining existing business (Cross


Selling), so that the growth of the organization as per business plans is
accomplished.

2. RESPONSIBILITY :

(A) Primarily your job responsibility will be achieving your


business target, which has been fixed in consultation with
you.
(B) Gaining Knowledge of Credit Insurance Products.
(C) To submit periodical reports and attend Saturday meetings.
(D) Generate the pipeline of clients for credit Insurance Products.

3. JOB PROFILE :

Keeping in mind of your role and responsibilities in the company,


profiling of your job is done as under:

a. Make a list of new clients for developing new business.


b. Discuss with Marketing/Branch Head for strategizing
contact development and maturing the accounts.
c. Finding the decision makers and get in touch with them.
d. Develop contacts with clients through visits and
telephonic calls.
e. Fix up appointment for our senior personnel visit the
client, if required.
f. At the appointed meeting, take the assistance of credit
insurance specialist.
g. Regular follow-up with prospects after initial meetings.
h. Upon maturity, keep close liaison with client manager
for obtaining quotes and finalization thereof. Make sure
that a letter is issued to the client informing names of
our officials responsible for day-to-day servicing of the
client.
i. Collect premium cheques from the clients & hand over
the same to clients’ managers. Assist client’s managers
for issuance of policies by Insurers & arrange delivery of
documents to the clients.
j. Accompany Marketing Head/Client manager at the time
of their visits to your existing clients.
k. Co-operate with Client Manager so that no issue of your
clients remains unaddressed.
l. Submit weekly MIS every Saturday in the prescribed
format to Marketing Head and attend review meeting
whenever called.
m. Comply with instructions of senior officials in respect of
any other job as may be entrusted.

The entire exercise as indicated above will be exclusives for domestic


as well export credit insurance business.
