Pump Specification
The pump selected is from our (LLC), designed to offer enhanced life, lower
maintenance costs and improved efficiency, resulting in the lowest total cost of ownership.

The standard materials of construction for the LLC range are:

The pump unit will be supplied bareshaft, without baseplate, coupling, guard or driver.

For potable water applications, all none metallic components in contact with the pumped fluid will be
certified DWI approved.

Internally the pump is finished with an approved protective coating, while externally it is coated with a 2
pack epoxy system having a dry film thickness of 340 microns.

Performance Testing

Standard acceptance of pumps from performance test results will be based on ISO 9906 Part 1, with the
following ISO 9906 grade 2 tolerances:

Flow ± 8% At nominal duty head

Head ± 5.5% At nominal duty flow
Effy 95% of specified efficiency.

The efficiencies quoted on our technical schedules relate to pump performance, and are duty point
guaranteed in accordance with the above.

The pump will be performance tested at our works using a slave motor at a nominal speed of 1450rpm,
and the results corrected to 1900rpm using the affinity laws.

Conditions of Sale
This quotation is subject to our agreed modified B J Services Terms & Conditions of Purchase.

Prices
The prices quoted are fixed for 30 days, firm for the duration of the despatch time given providing an
order is received within the validity period and are strictly nett being exclusive of VAT, taxes or any other
duties that may become applicable, these to be charged at the rate current at final invoicing.
Price is on an ex works unpacked basis and include for test certificates and our standard Operation and
Maintenance Manuals.

Guarantee
Our standard “return to base” guarantee in respect of faulty workmanship or materials is 12 months from
receipt on site or 18 months ex works whichever is the shorter. The guarantee on equipment not of our
manufacture is that which we are only able to obtain from and enforce with the particular manufacturer.

Please note that where lifting equipment is not installed or available on site, it is the responsibility of the
purchaser or end user to provide suitable lifting equipment required to enable SPP to undertake any
warranty work.

Terms of Payment
To be agreed subject to satisfactory credit references.

Despatch
The working weeks despatch time stated is to ex works completion and dates from receipt of full and
final instructions enabling us to proceed with manufacture without interruption and being subject to no
prior sale of stock items.

PREPARATION

Shot blasted in accordance with International Standard ISO 8501-1:1988

SA2½. All sharp edges and significant blemishes will be fettled.

PRIMING

Castings and fabrications primed using a polyamine type non toxic primer.

D.F.T. : 50 Microns

FIRST TOP COAT

Castings and fabrications coated using high build two pack polyamide epoxy based top coat.

Castings and fabrications undercoated using high build two pack polyamide epoxy based top coat.

i) "Standard" units are not painted internally.
ii) Total coating thickness = 50 + 125 + 125 + 40 = 340 microns
iii) For "Standard" units where customers will apply their own finish top coat then the process could
terminate after application of the second top coat. Any additional top coat must be compatible with
the existing coat.
