Let’s learn about it

* a atau an artinya sama dengan satu. Jika hewannya satu, di

belakang nama hewannya tidak ditambah huruf “s”
Contoh : a chicken = satu ekor ayam
an owl = satu ekor burung hantu

* Jika hewannya lebih dari satu (banyak), di belakang nama

hewannya ditambah huruf “s”.
Kecuali untuk fish dan sheep, walaupun lebih dari satu tidak
ditambah huruf “s”
Contoh : three lambs = tiga ekor anak domba
four horses = empat ekor kuda
five fish = lima ekor ikan
eight sheep = delapan ekor domba
Contoh penggunaan di dalam kalimat :

1.There is a chicken at the farm (ada satu ayam di peternakan)

2.There are five fish in the pond (ada lima ikan di kolam)
3.There are nine birds on the tree (ada sembilan burung di atas
pohon)
