First of all, we thank Almighty Allah, who has given us the courage to
write this report. We also thank my respectable teacher Mr. Mubashir
Durrani for his generous initiation, co-operation and coordination and
the way he showed his concerns from the very beginning till the end.
This was his undiverted attention and continuous interest that made it
easier for us to work. Thank you, sir; indeed we owe you a great deal.
This project provided us with an opportunity to learn about the
business world. Though, it͛s a bit difficult to say anything about the
perfection of the effort that we have made but let us hope that it finds
its place somewhere to meet the required and expected criterion.

We are going to launch a salad bar in the university named Yummy salad bar.

At this time in the market it͛s not so easy to launch a new product and making it
successful so we have adopted different tactics to make our product run
successfully in the market.

We have targeted different age of groups that ranges form 18-50 years of age.
The projected cost of the project is almost Rs 10000 and projected profit is almost
Rs 14000.

Öur business is to sell fresh salad to the people. Öur salad will include

„ Russian fruit salad

We named our salad business as:

Yummay Salad Bar

Initially we are going to launch this product in the Bahauddin Zakariya University
and if successful then we will move forward to other markets as well.The main
thing that the product we are producing is highly perishable and this is one of our
main weaknesses.

There is no available salad bar in the university anywhere. The market of the
university has not been targeted till yet by the salad business.

We will be the first to launch a proper salad bar with seating arrangement to
provide students of the university with fresh made salad.

This is a unique concept because it has never been under taken by any cafeterias
in the university and we will try to gain almost 80% of the target market share.

UF‰ only has chana chaat and fruit salad which is not fresh as well but we will
provide the students with the variety of salads as well as freshness that will speak
itself.

There are about 10000 students in the university out of which almost 30% are our
target customers. Especially we will target IMS, ‰omputer Science, ‰ommerce,
Language and Sociology departments because of their more buying power.

We will be able to accumulate almost 100% of the market share because we have
no big competitors in the university premises.

The projected daily sales of one salad bar are almost Rs. 14000.
