X400 Operating System software Ver 6.19

Please be advised that the X400 ‘Operating system’ software has been enhanced from version
6.18 to version 6.19. This technical bulletin details the enhancements made to the software.

1.0 Fire operating system changes - Version 6.19

1. Download error 4000 - Download error 4000 generated if trying to run a 5000 loop card on
a PICless SSU.
2. Override output group – Issue with Override Output Group that was introduced at version
6.18, now rectified.
3. NBU - An95 NBU to use the correct panel number for status events now rectified.
4. Zone Disablement - Added En54-2 A1 changes including showing a zone disablement if all
devices in the zone are disabled individually.
5. Silence log –Potential of silence logo disappearing, now rectified.
6. Node test - re-instated for fault events (removed in V6.18).
7. 6000 Hush ZAI - processing modified to take account of the Hushed and Isolated events.
8. Device Graph - Fixed gaps in analogue value graph when 6000 OpHtCO re-appears after it
has been missing.
9. Device Graph - Fixed CO value on analogue value graph when 6000 OpHtCO device is
missing.
10. Device Graph - Restored value on analogue value graph for digital devices with a single
channel.
11. Class device isolate - Added class device isolate changes as standard
12. Missed event processing - Added Fire text to the missed event processing
13. Text requests - Added storage of fire and fault text on DCNs to reduce the number of text
requests

2.0 Software Updating Procedure

SOFTWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE
Do NOT install this version without checking that all compatibility requirements have been met. This
version is NOT compatible with previous versions and will require a minimum software monitor
version 1.64. All RDNs, LCDs and Mimics will require version 3.38 or above.

3.0 Software location

The Fire operating system software version 6.19, are now available on the “Engineers link” of
the Protec Fire Detection plc web site.
