Finding the toolbars
Standard Toolbar
It has buttons for
common tasks such
as saving, printing,
checking spelling,
and inserting charts
and tables.

animated object.

menu, then click Custom

Effect Options.

select a sound effect

Click OK to add the
sound to the animation.
The sound is added to
the animated object.

Cancel button. The
Record Sound dialog box

In Slide View, double-

Adding music from
CDs
In Slide View, display
the slide you want to add
the music track to.
Click the Insert menu,
point to Movies and
Sounds, and then click
Play CD Audio Track.
Under Clip Selection,
enter the music track
number in the Start and
End Track boxes
provided.
To play the CD track,
double-click the CD icon.
But make sure the CD is
in the drive. Otherwise,
the music won't play.

In Slide, click the CD
icon to select it.
Click the Slide Show
menu, then click Custom
Animation. Click the Add
Effect and select Sound
Actions and Play .
You can change how it
starts by using the Start
function listed in the
Modify section of the
Custom Animation task
pane. Click on the arrow
and choose With
Previous from the drop-
down list. Now the audio
will play automatically
To add an effect to the
audio, select it, then click
on the Change button.

Movie from Clip
Organizer.
In the Clip Art task pane,
type a search term for the
type of video you want
to add, and click Go to
get the search results.
Decide which
video clip you
want. If you

video clip icon,
it will be
automatically
added to the
current slide
showing.

Creating speaker notes
In Slide View, display
the slide you want to
create notes for.
Click the View menu,
then click Notes Page. A
page will appear
containing the slide and a
text box.
Adjust the Zoom to
100% on the Standard
toolbar.
Click in the text box and
type your notes.
Printing your speaker

select Print Preview.
In the Print What box,

click Notes Pages.

your CD drive.

Internet Service Provider (ISP).
