MRI Lumbar Spine Report

Findings

General Observations
The T12-S1 levels are imaged.  Review of coronal plane scout images demonstrates no evidence of
scoliosis.  Normal lumbar lordosis is present.  No spondylolisthesis or spondylolysis is present.  

Cord
The epidural and intradural spaces are unremarkable.  

The imaged segment of the central cord demonstrates normal signal.  The conus medullaris is located at
the level of the vertebral body of L2.  

Ligaments and Posterior Elements

The anterior and posterior longitudinal ligaments are intact.   

The spinous processes are of normal signal, spacing, and morphology.  The interspinous and supraspinous
ligaments demonstrate no evidence of disruption or abnormal signal.  

Extraspinal Regions
The imaged portion of the sacroiliac joints is preserved and demonstrates normal signal.  

Review of the partially imaged portions of the paraspinal, abdominal, and pelvic regions reveals no
significant abnormality.
