This program is a launcher for Adobe Photoshop 7.0. it will
Configure the registry with your registration information
and settings, run the program and then save the registry
info to a file. It will then clean the registry of any
settings for Photoshop.

----- Setup instructions: -----
1. Install Photoshop 7.0 to your local or test computing enviroment and register
with your serial key and information when asked.
2. Finding Registration Information
a. Start Regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ADOBE\PHOTO
SHOP
b. Right-click the key and choose "export" to save it to a file. Name th
e file RegInfo.reg.
c. Copy this file the Settings directory in the program folder.
3. Copy all files from the Photoshop install folder to the Photoshop folder in t
he launcher directory, minus any file named "uninstall".
4. Uninstall the program from your local machine.
5. That's it, run the program. you will see a few setup messages on first run. A
nswer them or click ok, you won't see them after that.

NOTE:
This Program does not include the Photoshop 7.0 Program, Please
Purchase this program from Adobe Systems. Then use this
readme to gather the information needed to make it portable.
NOTE 2:
The user needs to have at least power user rights on the machine they are using
it on, as the Registration info is imported to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
registry key. The HKLM root key will not allow writes unless you are at
least a power user on the machine.
IMPORTANT Note:
This is the information, that must be filled in the PHOTOSHOP_PS_7.INI file in t
he settings directory, if it is not there fill it in. It is used to search for t
he registry settings.

TO DO:
1. Test the newer Photoshop Programs to see what needs to be done to make them p
ortable as well. (I.E. Photoshop CS and Elements)
2. The program leaves very minor "path" traces in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE". FInd a wa
y to remove them on shutdown.
