1. Farah Ann

The national gymnast has been captivating the entire country with her brilliant performances each time
she is given a chance. During the 29th SEA Games, Farah retained gold in women's individual floor
exercise with a brilliant performance.
2. Welson Sim

The 20-year-old Sarawakian made the country proud by clinching a gold and setting a new SEA Games
record under painful circumstances with his mad dash to touch the wall in the men's 200m freestyle
final at the National Aquatic Centre.
3. Pandelela Rinong

After winning a gold medal in the mixed team category at the recent SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur, The
Olympic diver is currently the leading favourite to win the Sportswoman award at the Sarawak Sports
Awards presentation at Riverside Majestic Hotel tonight, 2 September.
4. S. Senthil Kumaran

This 25-year-old karate champ provided Malaysians with a sterling show at the 29th SEA Games despite
facing everything that had gone wrong against before the start of the Games. Senthil clinched his second
SEA Games gold after a hard-fought 5-3 win over Filipino Jayson Ramil Macaulay in the men’s kumite be-
low 60kg final.
