1. What do you want to learn? Superannuation – industry information

dissemination

Educating businesses…. What do we need to do so they

hear our messages?

We all know how important superannuation is, but some

employers still pay late or don’t pay super at all to their eligible
employees.

Over the last few years we have been providing information to

various sub-industries we believe are at high risk of not paying
super to their eligible employees. Generally we commence a
six to twelve month targeted communication and education
campaign to help them understand their obligations.

As we’ve outlined in our Compliance Program, the high-risk

industries we have identified this year are:
• accommodation (for example, receptionists and hotel staff)
• accounting (for example, accountants and accounting
clerks)
• computer system design and related services (for
example, software and applications programmers and ICT
managers).

We would like to get your opinion on the channels and

publications which would provide us with the best reach into
each sub-industry identified.
1. What do you think is the best way to provide information to
each industry so they hear our messages?
2. What channels as a business do you listen to?
3. If we were aiming to educate your industry group, how would
you prefer to receive this information?
