January 23 - "To Be or Not To Be" - Join us for a pro-life evening as
we discuss the Church's teaching on Abortion and the effects on our
culture since it was legalized 48 years ago.
January 30 - "This is Your Life" - Tonight we will be talking about the
7 Corporal Works of Mercy and assigning service groups for the se-
mester.
February 6 - Monsignor Marren will lead us through an explanation of
"The Mass" and describe what sets the Catholic Mass apart from a
"Christian Service".
February 13 -It’s Amore!” Join us for an Italian Valentine’s Dinner
open to the whole parish! $5 per person or $20 for a family. All pro-
ceeds go toward our Teens” World Youth Day Trip this summer to
see the Pope!
The Confirmation Retreat will be March 4-6. If you are receiving
the Sacrament of Confirmation this Spring and have not yet registered

Congratulations to Loral Lashley who was voted as St. Andrew's Out-
standing Teen of the Year! She will be celebrating with teens around
the Archdiocese at a special Mass presided by Archbishop Wilton
Gregory at the Cathedral on January 22 at 10am. All are welcome to
attend!

"My favorite thing from Lifeteen's Fall Semester was
the retreat. We were able to play games while getting
to know each other and God better. Everyone opened
up and we comforted and helped each other. It was
definitely a life changing experience."

St. Andrew Preschool Registration
2011-2012 School Year
Our Preschool Program at St. Andrew provides a safe and nurturing
environment for one year olds through four year old preschoolers.
The program allows your child to be part of a Catholic based, social,
yet structured setting as well as getting the four year olds ready for
kindergarten. Registration for the fall will be the week of January
27th for parishioners of St. Andrew, and on January 28th all others
are welcome.

ATLANTA URBAN MINISTRIES NEEDS YOUR HELP
Atlanta Urban Ministries works with homeless children in At-
lanta. They provide educational programs for the children to help
break the cycle of poverty their families have known. Additionally they
provide food, clothing and supplies for homeless children. A second
collection will be taken up for Atlanta Urban Ministries on the weekend
of February 5th and 6th. Please be generous with your support! For

The office of Child and Youth Protection Victim Assistance Program is
offering a Trauma Recovery Group for adult survivors of childhood
trauma Thursday evenings beginning February 3rd. Registration

El pertenecer a la parroquia le permite recibir múltiples beneficios

como: participar de clases, talleres, seminarios de crecimiento espi-
ritual como personal y profesional. De igual manera le da la oportu-
nidad de integrarse y hacer nuevas amistades, de recibir el numero
de inscripción que lo identificara como miembro de St. Andrew
Catholic Church Este numero es el que debe usar en los sobres que
se les entregaran todos los domingos para que deposite su diezmo.
Al usar el sobre para el diezmo cada domingo, usted deja constan-
cia de que cumplió la obligación de oír misa y que es un miembro
activo de la comunidad.
Si llegara a necesitar una carta para la escuela de sus hijos,
constancia de que vive en el condado o para inmigración, solo
podemos confirmar esa información si usted está inscrito como
miembro activo. De igual manera cuando necesite ayuda econó-
mica o medica de San Vicente de Paul le preguntaran si está inscri-
to en la parroquia.
Es de mucha importancia que este inscrito. Tome una hoja de ins-
cripción en el vestíbulo o pase directamente por la oficina del Mi-
nisterio Hispano.
Si desea ofrecer una misa por intenciones personales; de salud o
difuntos apúntese en el Ministerio Hispano. Para mas información

QUINCEANERAS
La familia debe estar registrada en St. Andrew. La joven tiene que estar
en proceso de preparación para la confirmación, pertenecer al grupo
juvenil y asistir a tres charlas de preparación. La misa de Acción de
Gracia se celebra el tercer sábado de mes en el horario de 11:00 am,
1:00 pm y 3:00 pm. Registrarse en la oficina del Ministerio 5 meses
antes de la fecha.
Cuando cambie de dirección o número de teléfono, por favor comuní-
quense con la oficina parroquial para darnos los cambios. Es muy impor-
tante que nos ayuden a mantener nuestros archivos actualizados.

EL DIEZMO. Una hora de salario a la semana es lo mínimo que debes
considerar ofrecerle al Señor. Pon tú donación en los sobres que reci-
bes, por ellos sabemos que estas cumpliendo con la misa dominical.

NUEVO PROGRAMA PARA JOVENCITAS TEENS
1. MODA REAL: NUEVO PROGRAMA PARA JOVENCITAS DE 14
-18 ANOS. Moda Real quiere realizar lo que la moda tiene de
positivo. Le habla a la adolescente de hoy en su lenguaje.
Pretende resolver las inquietudes propias de esta edad de
estar guapas por fuera, al tiempo que les descubre su digni-
dad como mujeres. Aprenden a conocerse a sí mismas, a
cuidar su belleza interior y a integrar ambas dimensiones
para llegar a ser mujeres auténticas y de una pieza; mujeres
modernas y con valores; mujeres capaces de ser espejos de
lo bello y hermoso, de lo que merece la pena, espejos que
reflejen lo que es invisible y no por eso es menos real…
Quien descubre la auténtica belleza está preparado para
hacer un mundo mayor.

EXPOSICION DEL SANTISIMO EN LA CAPILLA. Dedícale una
hora a la semana de oración y silencio al Señor expuesto.
Apúntate para hacerle guardia. HORARIO de lunes a viernes
9:00 am a 9:00 pm. Llamada urgente para llenar el horario de
2:oo-3:00pm y de 4:00-5:00pm.
GRUPO DE LA DIVINA MISERICORDIA. Se reúne todos los
lunes a las 6:30 pm en la capilla. Estudio a las 7:00 pm salón

SACRAMENTOS
BAUTISMO. Los padres tienen que estar registrados EN NUES-
TRA IGLESIA y asistiendo a la misa dominical por tres meses antes DE
TENER DERECHO A PEDIR EL SACRAMENTO. REQUISITOS: DEBE
presentar Acta de Nacimiento del niño/a. DEBEN los padrinos estar
casados sacramentalmente Y traer copia del certificado de
Matrimonio. Solteros: DEBEN ser mayores de 16 años de edad,
y presentar certificado de CONFIRMACION. PAREJAS EN UNION LIBRE
NO CALIFICAN PARA SER PADRINOS. Platicas de preparación: OBLIGA-
TORIAS PARA PADRES Y PADRINOS EN EL HORARIO DE :7:00 pm – 9:00
pm, Primer Martes de mes. Ceremonia Bautismal SEGUNDO SABADO
de mes a las 11:00 am. Todos los documentos tienen que ser entregados
antes del día de la platica. LOS BAUTISOS SE HACEN EN ESPANOL , NO
BILINGUES.
MATRIMONIO. Inscritos en la parroquia. Reservar la fecha con
seis meses de anticipación. Certificado de bautismo actualizada, licen-
cia pre-matrimonial, clases de preparación LLASU (Llamados a ser
uno). Cita con el padre.
