at 62%). Similarly area expansion has double-digit growth. Launched a boy brand “Hot
Wheels” to outright and concession retailers year 2006. Projected at 15 outlets and was

safety concern once costing was finalized. Closely work with contractors on proto and PCR
sample development. Make sure that US Buyer’s specification and requirements were met.

Major Accomplishment: Strengthen relationship with the Product and Technical


Development Group in San Francisco. Enhance awareness regarding “safety” on metal
parts affixed to the garments. Greatly reduce sampling (proto, counter and PCR sample)
rejection. Marked improvement on finishing development was able to maintain consistent
garment wash shade from season to season that cut down the lead-time on approval
process.

Identify contractor who has best turn around quantity based on performance and capacity

Major Accomplishment: For fiscal year ’94 was able to achieve cumulative On-
Time Delivery (OTD) of 98% with eight contractors. Maintain 96% accuracy rate in
shipment forecast on monthly basis. Greatly contributed to the business growth of the
branch by exceeding Annual Budget Plan (ABP) of 400.0U (total 800.0U) placement of order.
Negotiated a drop of $5.00/dz on CMPQ (cut, make, pack and quota) on Five-Pocket Jean
adjusting cost from $42.00/dz to $37.00/dz ($3.08/pc).
Successfully reduce garment lead-time to 30 days (from cutting to ex-factory) with
two major Britannia contractors. Persuaded US Buyer to use local fabric, same time
negotiated substantial reduction on fabric cost from $2.45/yd to $2.15/yd. In addition, was
able to further reduce CMPQ cost per garment by $0.10 making it $2.90 from $3.00.
