There was a famous hopital in the centre of the town who is known as the best hospital in the
country. Every people who get injured are straightly brought to that hospital. One day, there was a car
accident happened in front of this hospital. The victim, who was a young woman, suffered from a great
bleeding and was straightly brought to the ICU. The doctors tried their best to stop the bleeding and
saved this womanǯs life. She was at the edge of her life that moment. Miraculously, the doctors succeed
in saving her. After a few days of treatment, she was able to regain health gradually. Because her
wound had been healed, she was then transferred to room number 414, the treatment room. Her
health was getting better as she was treated well by the hospital. But the following morning,
something unexpected happened. The woman died mysteriously. Nobody even knew what caused the
woman to die. The doctors started to investigate the reason of her death. They tried to check the
medical instruments that were used for her treatment. But eventually, they didnǯt find any suspicious
things. They also checked the electricity circuit, but again they didnǯt find anything. Then they asked
the security, if they found any unusual things on that day. At last, a ray of hope cropped up as one of
the security heard an eeerie sound in that room at about 4 oǯclock in the morning. Another security
also said that he saw a spark inside the room arround 4 oǯclock. They tested the body to find out the
estimated time of death. They found out that she died around 3 to 5 oǯclock in the morning, but the
cause of death remained blurry. So, the case was closed and the news about this womanǯs death was
hidden to maintain the hospitalǯs reputation.
Another year passed by, and a new patient was brought to the ICU because of liver cancer. The
doctors tried their best in order to save this patient. And this time, they also managed to save the
patientǯs life. Because other rooms were occupied, the doctors had no other option. The patient was
brought to room number 414, to be treated until the patient recovered completely. To prevent
another weird case from happening, they ordered a nurse to take care the patient. At 4 oǯclock, the
nurse heard a ringing phone. She walked out from the room, and called another nurse to replace her.
The nurse who was assigned to replace her came a bit late, because she had a stomachache. So,
without knowing anything, she just sat beside the patient and took care of him. But the next morning,
the patient gave no response when the nurse was calling to wake him up. When he was checked, the
nurse found out that the patient had already died. Then, both of the nurses were interogated by the
doctors about the details that happened last night. They found out that there was an empty space at
around 4 oǯclock, when there was a switching of nurses, which meant it was the most probable time
when the patient died.
This caused a rumour to be spread around the nurses in that hospital that these incidents
happened because there was a ghost in that room. They even created stories that the ghost was a
nurse who ever worked in this hospital and then died in that room while taking care of her patient. Of
course, the doctors didnǯt believe this story, because there were no clear reasons to prove it. So, they
chose to ignore it. But, the nurses became terrified to stay in that room at night, especially around 4
oǯclock in the morning. That is why, everytime there were patients sent to room number 414 and a
nurse was asked to stay there, the nurse would make excuses to went out from that room before 4
oǯclock and then went back around 5 oǯclock. Because of this, many patients died in that room with no
one even knew what are the causes.

With the increasing number of death in that room with no clear reasons, the doctors afraid that
this news could be spread out and the hospitalǯs reputation would fall down. So, the doctors and the
nurses agreed to put a patient in room nuber 414 and stayed in that room together until the next
morning. The clock was ticking fast, and suddenly it showed 4 oǯclock. The tension in that room
increased highly as what they were waiting for had arrived. Suddenly, a cleaning service entered that
room, calmly pulled out the cable for patientǯs respiratory device, and plugged in the cable for vacuum
cleaner to clean the room. Finally, the mystery of room nuber 414 was solved. The eerie sound came
from the vacuum cleaner and the spark was emitted when the cleaning service plugged out the
respiratory device. The cleaning service was then fired and there were no more incidents like that
happening again. The only question that still remained in the mind of all the doctors and nurses there
was ǮIs there any cleaning service whoǯs so fool that he didnǯt realize what he had done?ǯ
