GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. The written test is conducted for the selection of personnel to various posts in TRACO Cable Company
Limited, Kerala Soaps Unit of KSIE, Container Freight Station of KSIE and Kerala State Drugs and
Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The admission to the test is purely provisional and will not confer any claim unless the
conditions in the notification are satisfied.
2. The written test will comprise of objective type questions from the following disciplines
a. General Awareness b. English Language c. Reasoning ability d. Numerical Ability e. Subject
Based
Total 80 questions Maximum time: 90 minutes
3. All questions carry one mark each. Maximum marks for written test will be 80 (eighty). There will be no
negative marks for the wrong answers / unattended questions.
4. Candidates will be provided with question booklet and OMR answer sheets. Candidates need to mark their
answers in the OMR answer sheets using Ball Pen (black or blue) by darkening the specific bubble. No
correction is possible.
5. Shortlisting for the interview will be based on the performance in the written test. The shortlisted candidates
will have to appear for Group Discussion / Trade test / Skill test / Physical test & Interview, as applicable at a
later date.
6. Candidates should occupy their allotted seats in the examination hall with this Admit Card 30 minutes before
the commencement of examination. No candidate will be permitted to write the examination without the
Admit Card attested by a Gazetted Officer.
7. Candidates should hand over the Admit Card as and when demanded by the Invigilator.
8. Candidates are neither allowed to bring any book, paper or manuscript to the examination hall nor to
communicate with each other.
9. Candidates are not allowed to use mobile phones, calculators or other such electronic equipment in the
examination hall.
10. No candidate is allowed to leave the examination hall without the consent of the Invigilator.
11. Candidates who are found engaged in malpractices in the examination hall will be disqualified.
12. No TA and DA will be paid for attending the written test.
13. Based on the written test, the shortlist of candidates for the next stage of selection process (trade test / skill test
/ physical test / GD / Interview, as applicable) will be published in the website www.kitcoplacementpark.in
within 5 days from the date of test.

Information to candidates who have applied for more than one job position in the same company / same
job position in any of the four different companies :- There will be a common written test for positions with
same basic qualification. The marks obtained in the written test will be considered for preparing rank lists of
different positions applied by the candidate, as applicable.
