Merujuk perihal pada pokok berita, dengan hormat disampaikan hal-hal berikut:

Ringkasan Berita:
The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TOBITAK) menyampaikan
informasi penyelenggaraan kompetisi teknologi internasional tingkat pelajar dan mahasiswa
tahun 2021. Batas akhir pendaftaran adalah 28 Februari 2021 dan ada kemungkinan untuk
diperpanjang. Dalam rangka melanjutkan tren positif partisipasi dan prestasi Indonesia
pada kompetisi T~BlTAK serta memperkaya pengalaman para pelajar dan mahasiswa
Indonesia, mohon bantuan Kemdikbud c.q. Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi untuk kiranya dapat
mendiseminasikan informasi mengenai kompetisi teknologi TOBITAK tersebut kepada
berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.

1. KBRI Ankara telah menerima surat dari The Scientific and Technological Research Council
of Turkey (T~BlTAK) No.E77913051-724.01.03-20555 tertanggal 10 Februari 2021 yang
menyampaikan informasi penyelenggaraan berbagai kompetisi teknologi internasional
TOBITAK tahun 2021. Kompetisi internasional tersebut merupakan bagian TEKNOFEST
Aerospace, Space and Technology Festival 2021. (Catatan: TOBITAK merupakan leading
agency pemerintah Turki yang memiliki tupoksi pengelolaan, pembiayaan dan pelaksanaan
riset dan pengembangan teknologi yang sejalan dengan prioritas strategis nasional Turki).

2. Dalam surat tersebut, TOBITAK menyampaikan informasi penyelenggaraan 3 (tiga)

kompetisi teknologi internasional di Turki dan mengundang para pelajar dan mahasiswa
asing untuk berpartisipasi, yaitu:
a. 17th International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Competition (EC)
Diselenggarakan pada 31 Agustus - 5 September 2021 di Istanbul Park Race Track.
T~BlTAK mengalokasikan dukungan finansial bagi tim peserta sebesar 25.000 s.d
50.000 Turkish Lira/TRY (Catatan: 1 TRY= ± Rp 2.023, kurs per 18 Februari 2021 ).
b. 6th International Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition (UA VJ
Diselenggarakan pada 13 - 18 September 2021 di Bursa Yunuseli Airport. T~BlTAK
mengalokasikan dukungan finansial bagi tim peserta sebesar 18.000 s.d 40.000 TRY.

 c. 1st International Free Mission Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competition (FMUAV)
Diselenggarakan pada 13 - 18 September 2021 di Bursa Yunuseli Airport. T~BITAK
mengalokasikan dukungan finansial bagi tim peserta sebesar 18.000 s.d 50.000 TRY.
Catatan: Sehubungan kompetisi-kompetisi teknologi T~BlTAK merupakan bagian dari
TEKNOFEST Aerospace, Space and Technology Festival 2021, penyerahan penghargaan
bagi pemenang akan dilakukan di sela-sela festival TEKNOFEST yang diselenggarakan
pada 22-26 September 2021 di Istanbul Ataturk Airport.

3. Pelajar dan mahasiswa Indonesia yang berminat mengikuti kompetisi dipersilahkan

mendaftar secara online pada https://kys.turkiyeteknolojitakimi.org/en. Batas akhir
pendaftaran adalah 28 Februari 2021 dan ada kemungkinan untuk diperpanjang. Untuk
informasi lebih lanjut dapat mengunjungi https://www.teknofest.org/.
4. Terlampir salinan surat dari T~BlTAK sebagaimana tersebut di atas sebagai referensi.

5. Hampir setiap tahun, kompetisi teknologi internasional T~BlTAK diikuti oleh pelajar dan
mahasiswa Indonesia. Pada kompetisi tahun 2020, 4 (empat) Tim Indonesia yaitu Tim
Soeromiber ITS, Tim Narayana ITS, Tim AUAV UI dan Tim Lokeswara UGM berhasil
masuk tahap final. Sementara pada kompetisi tahun 2019, Tim_ Bayucaraka ITS berhasil
meraih Juara I di ajang Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition dan menerima
penghargaan yang dlserahkan langsung oleh Preslden Turkl.

6. Sebagai informasi tambahan, Indonesia akan menjadi Guest of Honour festival

TEKNOFEST Aerospace, Space and Technology Festival 2021. lnformasi lebih lanjut
terkait hal ini akan kami sampaikan melalui brafaks terpisah.

7. Dalam rangka melanjutkan tren positif partisipasi dan prestasi Indonesia pada kompetisi
T~BlTAK serta memperkaya pengalaman para pelajar dan mahasiswa Indonesia, mohon
bantuan Kemdikbud c.q. Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi untuk iranya dapat mendiseminasikan
informasi mengenai kompetisi teknologi T~BlTAK tersebut kepada berbagai perguruan
tinggi di Indonesia.

8. Dalam hal terdapat universitas/lembaga pendidikan yang mengirimkan tim pada kompetisi
tersebul, mohon kiranya dapat pula menginformasi KBRI Ankara melalui surat elektronik
(email): pensosbud.ankara@kemlu.go.id. Narahubung KBRI yang dapat dihubungi terkait
hal ini adalah Sdr. Raditya Aji ( +90 535 084 28 50) dan Sdr. Hafid A. Santosa (+90 553 755
67 56). Adapun biaya terkait partisipasi tersebut menjadi tanggungan masing-masing
institusi.

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (T~BITAK) is the lcading agency for
management, funding and conduct of research in Iurkey. TB[AK is responsible for promoting.
developing. organizing. conducting and coordinating research and development in line with national
targets and priorities. Within the framework of these roles, we are organizing three international
competitions for students: I7th International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Competition (EC),
6th International Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition (UAV) and Ist International Free Mission
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competition (FMU.AV). We will be pleased to invite all your interested
students to these competitions.

The International EC aims to increase awareness about the environmental sensitivity of students and
create occasions, which will enable the development of new technological advancements. For that reason.
we encourage university students fromTurkey and all over the world to produce the most efficient electric
vehicle. The International UAV Competition creates awareness among the society about the UAv and
gives professional and social experience to the students from Turkey and all over the world. Ihe
International Free Mission Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competition, which will be organized for the first
time this year, targets university students from Turkey and all over the world. Its goal is to develop their
world of dreams and ideas without any category or job description and to promote all kinds of scientific.
technologic, ability and skill-based flights with UAVs of different structures (fixed wing. rotary wing.
flapping wing, hybrid etc.). It also aims to make Turkey a meeting point for successful national and
international students in U/AV technology.

The financial support that is provided by T~BTAK to EC participants is between 25.000-50,000 TRY.
For UAV participants, this will be between 18.000-40.0U RY. For FMUAV participants. financial
support will be between 18.000-50,000 TRY.

The EC will be held between 3I of August and 5of September 2021 at Istanbul Park Race Track. The
UAVs will be held between 13 and I8"of September 2021 in Bursa Yunuseli Airport. All competitions
are organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Aerospace, Space and Technology Festival. Therefore,
the award ceremony will be held at TEKNOFEST, which will take place between 2204 and 26h of
September 2021 in Istanbul Atat~rk Airport.

meeting with many relevant team members: they can get social achievements and an exciting week in
Turkey.

If the teams attending to these competitions from all over the world are decided to be supported, their
awards will be paid directly to themselves.
