2. Worked with Group Enterprise Applications Team as a Functional Analyst
in HSBC Global Technology, Pune
• Functional Analysis: Requirements Gathering, Preparing and Reviewing
functional specifications for the Reports in the Project Management Tool NIKU.
• Business Process Improvement: Improving the internal processes, which
includes automation of the tools used in HSBC GLT. This includes execution of
Common Template in NIKU which aims at tracking actuals at sub process level
and calculating Cost of Quality. Worked closely with Finance Dept. to
automate NIKU with GLT Resource Allocation and Billing System (GRABS) to
streamline the processes and bridge the gap and provide automation for
timesheet capturing, billing and generating invoices.
• Training: Train the GLTians on using Niku as a Time Management System.

• Domain Consulting: Provide Consulting and handle client's queries related

to the Project Management tool (Niku) used by HSBC. The queries are
regarding planning, executing and reporting projects.
• Overall Initiatives: I have worked with American Quality Service Office in
HSBC in improving the quality of the processes using Six Sigma as a tool. I
am working with the Management of HSBC GLT on making “HSBC- A Best
place to Stay”. This involves studying the current trends in the market,
comparison of the companies, cost benefit analysis, giving recommendations
to the Organization and finally implementation.
