ABSTRACT
Microorganisms are very small living things and can only be seen with a microscope.
Microorganisms include bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeast. Certain microorganisms can cause
damage to food and some of them (called pathogens) can also cause food poisoning. Among the
microorganisms are bacteria, mold and yeast. The purpose of the practicum this time is to be
able to distinguish the forms of bakgteri, mold, and yeast. From this practicum, the bacteria
observed were Bacillus sp. The yeast observed was Saccharomyces cerevisae, and the mold
observed in this practicum was Neurospora sitophila.
